4 Weeks Without a Fridge – No Resolution from Tafelberg, Liptronics or Samsung
I am extremely frustrated with the complete lack of resolution from both Tafelberg Furnishers, Liptronics and Samsung South Africa. I logged a service request on 13 March 2026 through Tafelberg Furnishers. The issue was escalated to Samsung, who appointed Liptronics as the repairer. After assessment, I was informed that both the PCB and compressor may be faulty, but no definitive diagnosis could be made. I have paid in full for the quoted repairs, yet over 4 weeks later, my refrigerator is still not working. To make matters worse: The replacement PCB has arrived, but the repairer refuses to install it due to risk of a faulty compressor damaging it Samsung has not provided a solution or accepted liability The matter is being delayed due to “parts availability”, with no urgency shown Meanwhile: - I have lost hundreds of rands worth of food - I have been without a fridge for a month - This has caused major inconvenience, especially over the Easter period with family visiting Under the Consumer Protection Act, I am entitled to a repair within a reasonable time, or a replacement/refund. This has clearly not been met. I have now issued a formal final demand (72 hours) to both Tafelberg Furnishers and Samsung. At this point, I require: - A full replacement fridge, OR - A full refund, OR - Immediate resolution with Samsung accepting liability and completing the repair The current situation is unacceptable and reflects poorly on both companies’ customer service and accountability. I expect urgent intervention. #SamsungSA #TafelbergFurnishers #ConsumerRights #CPA #PoorService

Bad after sales service!
Hi Cash Crusaders team, I purchased an Electronic Keyboard from your N1 City store in Cape Town. The sales team was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, the Keyboard only worked for less than 5 months, and I returned it on the 26th of August. We have Inverter and Solar so its fortunately not Eskom causing issues. Understandably it takes 7 - 21 days to resolve, so I gave it sometime before I requested a status update. During this time, I have dealt with Jerrimy and Christine First Call 4th of September: - Promised to be called back with a status update. Did not happen. Second follow-up 8th of September: - No Status update, saying they are waiting on the company that fixes these issues. Promised to be called back with a status update, phoned later, but no update, still waiting... Third Call 11 September: Same story no update reached out still waiting. No phone call received! Fourth Call 12 September: Testing and adjusting the speakers, will phone back to confirm date for when ready. No phone call received! Fifth Call 14 Sep: Have no idea when it will be ready, still no effective update from repairer, seemed to have sent it to another party for repair (even after saying they are just adjusting the speakers). What is happening really happening? I am paying for weekly piano session for my daughter, but she does not have a Piano to play on!

Poor after sales service
David and his team from Solar Advice Installed a Victron System at my home in June 2022. The installation and quality of workmanship was excellent. Friendly, capable and well trained teams conducted the installation. My complaint is not regarding the installation but rather the aftersales support. My home has a 3-phase grid feed, and the team suggested a single phase Victron inverter. I paid for a COC and Prepaid meter application with the municipality which costed an additional R5000. The Prepaid meter installation was meant to be completed 6 weeks after application, but 6 months later im still waiting... I tried to get hold of the Solar Advice team a couple of times last year without any success. Eventually I decided to contact the Municipality directly (surprisingly I was able to get hold of them but not the Solar Advice team) to find out what the status is on my application, The municipal team confirmed that there has not been an application filed. It is very possible that this can be a delay on the Municipal side but the lack of communication from Solar Advice and the team is disappointing. Subsequently I have also reached out the Electrician who completed the COC, he mentioned that if no application was submitted, I might be in for a large fine and possible some other repercussion. This morning (16 January) I was promised a call from David, but unfortunately that never happened. Im aware that the solar industry is inundated with many requests and load of work, but my installation was done before all of the craziness unfolded. I have referred at least 5 installations to them, but I'm second-guessing that.

Internet off regularly for hours at a time
Like many of us COVID - Remote workforce I fully rely on a strong, stable and fast internet connection. Im paying a premium for my service! I have been without internet regularly over the past 2 weeks. I have logged numerous support request with Afrihost and they have been super quick to respond. But the error is with Frogfoot and there is just no way to get hold of them. What is going on FrogFoot!!!! This is un-acceptable service! I have an Airbnb tenant who also needs Internet, I'm sitting with the red face as I cannot give them an accurate update either. When when will you fix the core issue, please communicate with your paying customers as lack of communication is a PR nightmare, and in a very competitive market this is a revenue killer.

After waiting 2.5 weeks for a 2 day deliver the SIM is not working
I bought a SIM card from Rain on 8th of June. It took 2.5 weeks to be delivered to me which was painful, but at least Rain refunded my R120 delivery fee. For the past 3 days I was unable to use my new data provider as they cannot get my SIM card activated on the network.... Still waiting for tech team to contact me. Worst experience!!!
