I called about an issue to which I mentioned to the consultant that I intend to close my account. She gave me the number to call to call when I am ready to close. I went ahead and paid the outstanding of my credit and called the number to have my account closed. Now I am being told that I did not follow procedure to have my account closed and I should have not paid and I am still required to pay a fee. I do not understand why is it that I have to be charged for closing fees etc when my credit is on 0. I am not owing anymore and closing because of high fees and delays in resolving matters. It shouldn't have to result in me having to be below the credit limit before I can close. yYou are taking me from covering my debt to creating debt before my account is closed. That's crazy. The consultant tells me I should have done my due diligence before paying off my account, as if fsps make signers aware of hidden discrepancies. I can't wait to have my account closed.
I am back again with another bad review. If you’re gonna use this app use cash, they don’t refund. Today the driver took a longer route. As he was about to pass my turn I told him and he continued with a longer route. I was charged R13 extra for an issue, as the driver said, is as GOS issue. I haven’t received my refund for another ride from 9 April.
There’s two hospital next to each other in my area. I waited by the entrance and told driver I am by the entrance, he arrived and told me he is by the gate but there was no driver. I told him I’m at this hospital and he said he’s at the other hospital, a stone throw away, instead of coming he cancelled while I waited. The app charged me R20 for cancelling, the trip was R45. Its been 5 days and I am yet to receive my refund and I get on the app to follow up and I am told “I’m sorry for the frustration here. Refund adjustments can only be reviewed for a limited time after the ride, and this trip from 9 April is now outside that review window. Because of that, I’m not able to make any further changes to the refund for this ride.”. Imagine the number of drivers who cancel and this app enriching them through us for no service rendered. I have been gathering information to report them to the ombudsman.
Stay away from Makro credit by RCS. Too many interest, fees charges etc. you’ll think you’re close to paying off the credit only for it to be reduced my monthly fees places you don’t even understand. It’s my first credit with Makro, not sure if all work the same, if not stay away from Makro credit by RCS. That time some of product I returned by March I am still not refunded for. I’m paying all these fees for an item that was sent back which I am still not refunded for. Never doing business again with Makro.

I am so disappointed with this company. I logged a return for 2 items and they captured one instead of two. After some week I had to alert them to capture the other return. They fetched the product without no communication just the courier guy rocking up at my house on a random day. They proceeded one item for refund and not the other. This is weird because the two items were packaged in one box and further sealed in from of me by the driver. Weeks later I follow up and I am told they do not accept refund for that product. The product which was sealed as it was delivered to me in bubble wraps that I did not temper with. I returned that product because I mistakenly bought two so I didn’t need to unwrap the other. They can’t process return for the item but they haven’t communicated that with me or returned it to me. If I didn’t follow up they would have kept quiet m. Not only that, my account is blocked for reasons I do not know. To make purchases with Makro I have to register another account(which I won’t be doing anyway because of bad services). Stick to take a lot and Amazon everyone.

I have requested a refund since 12 October and I haven’t received it. From being treated poorly by assistants at their store to no communication and no refund. I’m thinking of contacting the ombuds. This company is disgusting for treating me this way.
On 10 October I bought two items at the Hauwei store at Rustenburg mall. On 12 October I returned one item as I realised the other item contain the same item I bought. When I was at the store the was a lady who gave me so much attitude and told me that they would not take the item since it is not hauwei branded. I told them I have the right to return the product as per consumer protection act. The lady with an attitude tells me that I cannot buy and return the product knowing I do not need it. I was met with so much hostility. Another lady came back to assist, she looked at the item and said I had opened it. I told her I did not(I really did not). We argued and I told to please refund me cause going back and forth does not assist. She told me because of how the package looks they will deduct 20%. I am so unhappy. It was my first time buying at hauwei and that was the last time.
I am unhappy with Levi’s South Africa. Warehouse received my returned parcel 2 weeks ago and I haven’t heard from them since. No refund issued. I have tried their social media channels and emails to no avail. I have done my search to see if this is how they usually operate, and it seems I am not the only one struggling to get through to them and get my refund. DONT BUY ONLINE.
