Wow - Eden & Co are just simply exceptional and they never cease to surprise with their exception quality and service. What a pleasure doing supporting such a super customer orientated business. I bought a pair of pearl studs, probably 3 years ago and one of the studs came loose and I reached out to them for advice. They asked me to send it to them and they repaired it free of charge. I also had a ring that my husband bought from them 2 years ago that was too big and they made it smaller for me and also fixed another pair of pearl studs for me. I received my parcel back today and it was all beautifully packaged in their boxes with a ribbon on and looks like new! I am overwhelmed! Thank you soooo much Anella for exceptional service!
We recently purchased an Aircon with installation from AC direct and although they are probably the best priced, their service is nothing but appalling. There is literally no human communication other than when you are required to make a payment, they don't update you on the process and the installers simply do not arrive at the scheduled date and time. The first time we moved everything around to be at home and they never showed, when I phoned, I was told the car broke down and it had to be rescheduled. Then we had an issue with a water leak and once again sat around waiting all day for the installer to come and check and once again, we were told the car broke down. It had to be rescheduled and the guy showed up but 2 hours later than scheduled. So for Service I would actually have to give them a big fat ZERO for effort.
I bought a product from Canvas & More on Take a Lot and the quality was so good that I visited their site and ordered a Mer**** C**** Chart for my grand daughter as well. It was a special request as I wanted it done in Afrikaans. I was kept up to date during the whole (very short and quick) process and my product was delivered in Oudtshoorn for my granddaughter only days later. Their service and quality is REALLY excellent and I would recommend Canvas & More anytime!
Worst Service and guarantee EVER! I bought a Garmin watch from Sportman's Warehouse Somerset West, in September, the heart rate monitor stopped working in February and I took it in to SW. It was returned to Garmin in JHB for assessment as it was still under guarantee. After numerous inquiries, I received a message that it would be replaced and I could collect. I went to the store on the 9th April to collect, however Garmin had sent me a bright Turqois watch instead of the black that I had. SPW returned it to Garmin to be swapped for the correct colour. Once again the whole process and on 9th May (a month later) I was informed that they had now only (ONCE AGAIN!) given a quote! So I am still waiting to receive my watch back and it has now been almost 3 MONTHS Later! To top everything off the new unit (IF I EVER RECEIVE IT) will only carry a 90 day guarantee...... This is the WORST service ever and although the ladies at Sportman's Warehouse Somerset West had been very apologetic, this service is simply unacceptable.

They are extremely professional, give you feedback and access to a Lexis Tracker which is updated on a daily basis. You know the entire time exactly what is happening, they are pro-active and really have your best interest at heart. They stick to timelines and respond almost immediately to any queries. I placed an order online with Powertool Repairs in Cape Town and it was seriously the best service I have EVER received from any online company. They have an online "person" you can ask questions about products - with immediate replies. Within half an hour after placing my order, Annette phoned informing me that the box of one of the sale items I purchased had a box which was slightly damaged (the product was still sealed) to confirm if I would still want it. She also informed me that the sanding paper that I bought with the band sander was not the correct size and she offered me alternatives! I was completely blown away. If this was any other company, I would have received the damaged box and be disappointed and incorrect size sanding paper which I would then have had to return. To put the cherry on top - my order was delivered the very next morning and there prizes are the best around! Thank you very much for the great service - I will certainly recommend them to EVERYONE!
Nanette Rosslee and her staff are simply amazing. She has so much passion for people and hearing and she truly connects you to a world you didn't even know was out there! Realizing you have hearing loss is traumatic and unfortunately associated with old age, so it carries the shame factor, but Nanette has so much empathy and compassion that it makes the journey so much easier and you feel like visiting a friend. Thank you for helping me with acceptance and finding a solution and feeling brave for doing so! Thank you - I feel like I've made friends for life with you and your staff!
I am a regular customer on the Takealot site and have always been happy with the service, however I ordered a product a couple of weeks ago and received the completely wrong parcel. I ordered 2x canvasses with Bunnies on for my Granddaughter and received a portable gasstove instead?? The process to have this mishap corrected has been the worst case of customer service I have experienced. It took about 15 emails to get them to collect the parcel (finally yesterday) and now I'm told it will take another 3-5 days to sort their side out - and then they may or may not have stock and could possibly refund me. It is like dealing with aliens! You cannot pick up the phone and speak to a real person, you just interact via the website and emails and each Takealot employee seems to have no clue what the issue is. They each give a stock standard reply and do not seem to read the email thread. I am beyond frustrated!!
Received excellent service from Outsurance. I contacted them on the app to cancel my contract as I was purchasing a new vehicle, seconds later they called. The plan was to cancel and shop around before making a decision. I was given a quote and then transferred to a senior consultant, Francis Monisi. He said as a Customer of 11 years they did not want to lose my business and offered me a premium of 25% less than my current premium. The new vehicle is obviously worth much more - so it was mind boggling. He also gave me advise on getting a proper comparison if I called the other Insurance Company and never once slated their service. I contacted them but the service and premium could not compare even close and I called Outsurance the next day to renew my insurance with them. Today I called with my new registration number and the lady on the other side was such a fresh breeze and so friendly and professional. Dealing with Outsurance is only a pleasure!

Gideon van der Vyver came out to inspect my vehicle. He is friendly, efficient and extremely professional. He returned the following morning exactly on time and within 10-15 minutes the paperwork (all electronic) was done and the money in my account. I received an excellent price for my used vehicle and would recommend We Buy Cars to anyone!
