I was interested in a property that was advertised by Adrienne Hersche Properties in the Gardens and made contact with the agent. I had an appointment to view 03/10/2024 at 17h30. The advert says fully furnished so you expect the unit to be fully, furnished. On my viewing, there was not cutlery or crockery or chairs for the dining table. I said to the agent that I would like her to phone after I left. I got a sms later asking me what I think of the unit and I rep**** that I would be interested. I then received a sms asking if when I would like to move in and I rep**** asap. Then I received a sms stating that I must apply online and pay R 285 for the application. I see this as ******ion for taking money from me before I even have spoken to her or know if I will be approved. I sent her a sms complaining about the fact and I was told it is standard practice. So that means that the rental companies make money from people even if they are not accepted. What stops a agent to not even have a property or not even complete the application and just use this to make a quick couple of Rand every day without any questions asked. I was then told that if I want to rent the property, I have to pay or don't rent. Wow is this what is happening to the rental business, they have become so unprofessional to bluntly steel from clients like this. Don't use this agency, if they treat you like this, they don't care about your well being, just the money.
I saw a Jaguar XKR that was advertised by Chasing Cars in Randburg at the price of R 499.00. I phoned the salesman buy the name James and asked him what the total price will be and if there is any damage on the vehicle or any repairs. I was told that nothing requires any repairs seeing that the vehicle is still very clean and in good condition. I asked the salesman to give me the final pricing and I was told that the vehicles price is R 499 000 but they add a extended warrantee to the value of R 27 000. Now I don't know what extended warrantee costs that price so I said I will rather pass the deal. Today I phoned the salesman again and asked him if I could buy the vehicle without the warrantee. I was told now, I have to buy the vehicle with the warrantee. I later got a wattsapp message sating that I could buy the vehicle without the warrantee for R 495 000 but I have to sign a waver that I don't keep them liable for any damages or repairs. I asked him if they did a full test on the car to make sure all is working. I was told they can do that if I pay for it. Now my question is the following, is the dealership not suppose to do that automatically before selling the vehicle to you. Now they just want to get rid of the vehicle and add a warrantee to it so that they are not liable for any repairs. They now can sell you any junk and you sit with the repair cost and problems. Please be careful if you buy a vehicle from this company, every dealership is suppose to give you a six months warrantee from the dealership and not force you to take a warrantee to cover them from their responsibility. They should make sure that the vehicle that they sell is in good and proper running condition before selling it to you and not force you to take a extended warrantee to get them off the hook of their responsibility as dealership.
I approached this company seeing that I was interested in a Jaguar XKR 2007 model. I took the vehicle for a drive after I made an appointment with the salesman. I was told specifically by the salesman that the vehicle just came from Land rover where the vehicle has been thoroughly check and gone over to make sure all issues and or problems have been repaired. I was assured that the vehicle is 100% and was shown a list of problems that was repaired. After taking the vehicle for a test drive, we stopped at the showroom and I inspected the interior to see if all the electronics work and found that the telescopic steering wheel does not work. Now if Land rover did check the vehicle and took it for a test drive, then surely that should have been the first thing they must have seen that does not work. I was told that it will be sorted out and we agreed on a price and I was issued a OTP for the vehicle as I was willing to buy the car. The following day I made contact with the salesman to find out what the issue was with the was and I was told they have ordered the part. two days later I got a video and call from the salesman saying that the workshop said there is nothing wrong with the steering. I sent the salesman a video from the same problem with Jaguars seeing that it is a common problem to prove that it is not normal and that the steering should at least go up and down and forward an back. The following day I got a call from the salesman stating that I must first pay for the vehicle before they order the part or fix the vehicle. Now this is the first time in my short life of 60 years and all the cars I have bought in my life, that a dealership asks you to first pay for the vehicle before they fix all the issues or broken parts on the vehicle. So that said, they will sell a broken car to a client or you must pay them fist for the car so that they can use your money to fix their broken can. Don't buy from people like this,, there are many other car dealers that honestly know how to do business property and honestly, it seems like this dealer is not prepared to put his money in a car her bought to fix it and make another client happy, but need the client to make him happy to pay him so that he can use your money to sort out his problems.
I saw a advert of this company with a contact person by the name of Annatjie Joubert and made contact with her for some more information. Firstly she does not take a call but communicated via Whattsapp. I told her what my requirement was and she told me that they could assist but I must first complete a application. I then asked her questions like what will the term and conditions be and what will the interest rate be before I just sign the application document where I appoint them as my agent. These questions could not be answered and I was told to talk to the owner of the company Mr. Aubrey Meisenheimer. I tried numerous times to talk to him with out any success. I was then told by Mrs. Joubert that he has a problem with his phone and I could contact him on Friday. I asked if he does not have a alternative number seeing that it is a business. Could not get any other number to phone him. Friday morning I tried to phone him and again no success. I then got a message that they will not talk to me unless I complete the application letter where I appoint them as my agent. I sent her a message that I can not appoint them as my agent if I don't not know what I am appointing them for and what the criteria is or what my rate will be. Then Mrs Joubert said she would phone me after I tried three days to speak to somebody. She then came with a long story of people wasting his time for grants and they don't know what they do and that is why he want me to sing the application and make him a agent. What ehy are doing is against the NCR act , for they don't give you all the information before you sign any documentation. They also don't explain to you what they services entails or the cost thereof. I simply wanted to speak to somebody to find all of this out before signing any documents. Now I also find out that they are not registered with the FSB nor are they registered but the render financial services and do funding. This is against the financing act and they are not transparent with clients as to what they do. Please be careful for this company before signing any paperwork.
I had a meeting with Violet Automotive in Randburg, and went to see them to discuss thing I wanted to change on my two vehicles headlights. On arrival at the main gate I was told by the security that they want to take a photo of my drivers license which I refused seeing that there is so much ***** with ID and licenses in South Africa and due to the fact that it is unconstitutional. I then phoned the person I had the meeting with Sugar Moodley and asked him if he could please come and sign me in. Her said a technician will come and sign me in. After about 15 minutes two man arrived with a very snotty and bad attitude saying that I have to park my vehicle outside and come with them. I have not been treated like this in a long time and hope that if this is the way that they handle or treat customers that people will not use them to work on clients cars. If they treat a client like this, how will they do their work on a clients car. There are other companies that are to glad to get your business and treat you professionally. Don't use this company.
I made contact with a lady by the name of Lindsay van Zyl at Direct Axis concerning a application for a loan after we have received so many mails. This happened on the 11/5/2023 and she sent me a application to complete. We completed the application and forwarded all document's she required from us for the loan. We were notified today the 22/05/2023 that the application was successful and we need to sign the document that she sent as accepting the terms and conditions. All of this is done on legitimate Direct Axis letterheads and mails so according to me it is the real thing. On reading the document that was sent to me for my signature, I notice that there is an amount of R 48 999 that I must pay for legal fees and this must be paid upfront before the loan is paid out. This made me very uncomfortable and I phoned Direct Axis in Cape Town to find out what these fees are seeing that I could not get hold of Mrs. van Zyl. I was then told that this application is ***** seeing that Direct Axis does not work like that. My question then was but what has Direct Axis done to protect other people from being ****med like this for it is all done on their letterheads and that is why we though it is all legal. The answer is nothing, how many people still get ****med like this and nothing is been done. Be careful of using any application on line with any loan provider for they will just distance them from such ****s and you will loose your capital. Please be ware of Lindsay van Zyl, she is a **** and will ***** your money under the pretense that it is Direct Axis, and Direct Axis will just distance them from honest people trying to do business.
I met a Mr. Jan Human from Krugersdorp that claimed he has a patent where he can make diesel and fuel from old oil and from coal finds during December 2022. He showed me system that he has on his plot where he pours old oil in at the top and then opens a tap at the bottom and out runs clean usable oil. I asked him how much oil can he catalyze as he calls it for I have a contract for 200 000 liter. He said that that will not be a problem seeing that he could do it. He also said that he need somebody to pick him up financially seeing that nobody wants to help him. I again said to him that if he can do what he says he can, that I will support him and assist him financially to reach his goals on condition that he can catalyze the two products as he claims. We then receive a five liter sample that tested favorable for our client and placed the order with him. We are now in February and after many payments to him and buying equipment and paying for his personal living expenses etc., he only has made 850 liter up to date. He lied to us in the first instance when he said he runs it all of batteries and when he couldn't catalyze any product used the load shedding as the reason for non performance. This gentleman is using people with falls pretenses and can not produce the product as he states. He also can not put the system that has not been proven as he states in to the market to be commercially viable.
I drive a Nissan 370z and have been taking my vehicle to Melrose Nissan for more than tree years. Three months ago I saw that I have a leak on the seal of the prop shaft that goes into the deferential. I honed and made a appointment for the repair. I had to wait a month for the spares to arrive. On the day of repair I waited for the car for it was supposed to be a quick job, When I received my vehicle, I noticed that it felt that the handbrake was pulled up and I complained. I again went back to Melrose Nissan and complained, I was told that the differential nut is been tightened to tight but it will work it self out. Three weeks later I had a hum at the back of my car and I thought it was a wheel bearing. Again I went to Melrose and I was told it is the deferential. I could not believe it for I never had any problems before, so I approached a gearbox and differential company and told them what happened. The fact that they tightened the nut to tight caused that the differential failed and got damaged I was told by the company that Nissan uses for the repairs of their differentials. My vehicle has now been standing for two months seeing that Nissan does not have any spares. Saying this, and that is where it ends, I the client had to source around for spares and see if I can get a secondhand differential seeing that Nissan does not have in South Africa or Japan. This would have cost Melrose Nissan R 35 000 to fix if they got the parts from Japan. Last week I got a second hand differential from a can that only had 35000 km on the clock for the price of R 12 000. It has been four days since then and still Melrose have not paid for the differential, how long does Nissan South Africa want us to sit without our vehicles they sold to us with a promise of spares. Are we just good to the dealerships when we buy our cars for commission or are they the same when we need our cars repaired this does not look like it. I will not buy any Nissan product again for the service from Nissan does not exist seeing that not South Africa not Japan has spares. There are a lot of models that have the same problem under Nissan, don't buy a Nissan product.
I made a call to the Company called Prestige Customs Pty Ltd to have them repair a very bad wrap that was done on my vehicle. I spoke to the owner by the name Shaffi and he agreed to have a look at my car where it was standing at Nissan. He came back to me saying that the previous wrap was not done according to standard and that he would have to redo the front and rear bumper as well as the roof. I agreed to the quotation he gave me and asked him if he could do it as soon as possible. I have been trying to get hold of him for days now without any luck. Eventually on the 27/09/2022 I got a voice message that I must pay half of the amount deposit before they do the work which i do not have a problem with. I also did reply on voice mail to Shaffi personally that it is fine and that they should please come as soon as possible. It was arranged for the work to be done on the 29/09/2022 and I arranged for the deposit to be left at the dealership seeing that I stay 500 km away from where my car is standing. I phoned this morning just to confirm that they have arrived to start with my vehicle and again no reply. I then left a message that I can not work with people like this and I would also not want them to wrap any of my other vehicles. I then got a reply from the owner stating that he only works when payment is done upfront. If he answers his phone when a client phones him he would know about the arrangement but he does not. I get the idea that the work is to small for him seeing that he tried to get me to redo the entire vehicle and I was not interested. I have learnt so man y lessons with only trying to get to wrap one of my vehicles and I would honestly not recommend this company. If they don't even call back or come back but want payment you can just imagine what the results would be. We deal with high end vehicles and how and what do I say to my client if this is how the wrapping company handles a client.
About a month ago I had my vehicle wrapped with a white wrap coming from the company Kolok in Gold reef road Gauteng. I spoke to the manager Mr Mogamed on a couple occasions seeing that the person who did the wrap totally messed my vehicle up. Two weeks after the wrap was done, I had to redo the wrap seeing that the wrap that was supplied was of very bad quality and did not stick to the vehicle. The gentleman that did the second wrap also confirmed that there was something wrong with the wrap seeing that it comes of like paper. Kolok did not have more white and suggested we go for another color. The gentleman that did my second wrap confirmed with me that he had the same problem with the product from Kolok with a previous customer and that the product is inferior and does not stick to the vehicle. I discussed this matter with Mr Mogamed and a lady by the name of Yolande that works for Kolok. I demanded a refund from them for the first wrap material seeing that there was something wrong with the material. I was told that they have to send a sample to France to have it tested in the laboratory before they can repay me but that they will look after me. Three weeks ago I was told by Yolande that they will reimburse me within the next week. I was never reimbursed and if I try to get hold of either Mr Mogamed or Yolande, they just ignore me. They read and open my messages but refuse to reply or phone back. Please be careful of this company for you will get a bad product and you will not be repaid for your loss. It is a shame that the Bidvest group have a division with in the group that treats customers like this. This is so bad for the Group and I do hope they can change this around.
