Overcharged me for a day of rental even though I did everything that I was told to and took the car to it's receiving branch within the advised timeframe. Received a call from the branch manager at King Shaka airport on 16 Mar with a terrible sense of customer service and clearly a lack of understanding of the situation and its merits. I am still waiting for her requested email address from 16 Mar to further my disputed matter.
NON-EXISTENT CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE! Been trying to get assistance to ensure my bloods can be taken before 10am from the 0663925148 support number, with no response.

On 7 Jul, one month ago, a claim for a leaking kitchen ceiling was registered. It was resultant of a burst bathroom pipe under the bath tub, which was located above the kitchen on the 1st floor of the house. Only ONE WEEK LATER, after lots of lost water and time later, was the bath tub removed, tiles to bathroom broken and removed and the burst pipe repaired. THREE WEEKS LATER TO CLAIM REGISTRATION, a contractor was sent to assess the repair work to be done to the bathroom, NO COMMUNICATION NOR FOLLOW UP CALLS OR REPAIRS HAVE BEEN DONE TO THE BATHROOM. Now left with safety hazardous bathroom with open and exposed floor and underground water pipes especially during load shedding, which my 70+ yr old parents have been forced to use, has left me stressed and disappointed with the lack of service delivery and action to resolve the issues. Kubendran (claims handler) has been completely non-existent in attending to the matter for the last 3 weeks. Having to deal with the stress of daily life (late working hours and load shedding), why must it come to me making countless follow up calls, sending emails and horrible public reviews to get the work done? THIS IS ATROCIOUS !!!
SUBGRADE PATIENT CARE AND SERVICE for PREMIUM GRADE HOSPITAL FEES!!! My father went in for his right shoulder surgery. After coming out of surgery, when he asked what time breakfast would be served, he was abruptly replied to wait until it got served. When he asked for water, he was told to wait for "someone else" to give it to him and subsequently never given any. His Dr informed a nurse to clean and dress his wound on operated area and administer pain injection, it was never done. My father ended up being discharged with pain and discomfort. WON'T RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE!!!
DON'T SIGN UP WITH TELKOM!!! My pensioner father is on Smartplan 300 option, WE DID NOT use 300 free any network minutes for the month in question on the service line 0123744935 but was billed for it. Trying a whole month through numerous calls and visits at their Menlyn branch, with no resolution but ADDED FRUSTRATION AND DISGUST AT THE LEVEL OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LACK OF RESOLUTION. Then we get our service suspended for non payment even though payment was made but excl the disputed amount. No follow up calls were made to inform us of the feedback of query, straight to dispute.
BUILDING CLAIM NIGHTMARE, YET A LOYAL CLIENT FOR 12 YEARS!!! A portion of my roof was damaged by the obvious frequent severe storms experienced in Gauteng over the last few weeks and caused excessive loud banging noises on the roof whenever heavy winds are present. After submitting a claim on 27 Oct an assessor was sent out the next day. A quick assessmemt was done of the portion of the roof that was damaged but not on the roof where the loud banging noises stemmed from, which did not sound from the same area where damage occurred. NO FEEDBACK OF CLAIM PROGRESS FOR NEXT 10 DAYS!!! 10 SLEEPLESS NIGHTS (DUE TO LOUD BANGING NOISES OF ROOF) AND 2 FOLLOW-UP CALLS (which I iniated) LATER, I get an arrogant and rude call from claims handler telling me my claim is rejected due to wear and tear of roof. I ask for proof of the reports indicating this, only to receive a standard letter informing me reason for rejection and a reference to policy schedule wording. My parents of 70+ are bearing the worst brunt of the loud banging noises and this is what Santam does.
Santam Commercial dept - very poor lack of service. Been waiting for a building quote for 4 days going on 5. If this was the wait for a quote, imagine a claim process!!! And I called twice to request for 1!!!
Registered a claim on 19 Jan for a boundary wall which collapsed between myself and neighbour. 15 DAYS LATER, NOTHING! Claim is still at assessment stage. NO ONE HAS STILL COME TO ASSESS THE DAMAGES, LET ALONE REPAIR IT!!! PATHETIC CLAIMS PROCESS AND NON-EXISTENT CLIENT SERVICE!!!
