Luno is easy to setup and use. FICA verification is a bit of a pain but easy enough to do via the app.
I bought a Growatt inverter from them a few years ago and recently the MPPT charge controller popped. Since it was still under warrantee I took the inverter back to them. They then sent the inverter in for repairs and it was fixed and retuned a few days later at no charge. FullCircleSolar always answers there phones and does an great job at after sales support. One of the best companies i have dealt with.
I have spent over R100k here on batteries and panels all of which have worked flawlessly so I cant comment on after sales support but the sales and collection process was quick is easy.
I placed an order on bobshop and used ram as the couriers. The seller sent me photos of the documents he filled out, the address on the waybill that he filled in and everything we provided to the couriers was correct. At some point the couriers incorrectly captured this address and sent my package elsewhere and eventually returned to sender. Now they say we have to pay for shipping again if we want it delivered despite the fact that the mistake was not ours.
Good high quality products and fast delivery, I ordered a package from them yesterday and it has already arrived. In the past while assembling one of the kits a part was broken by us and we were told we could come a fetch a replacement part this was at 22:00 at night.
Good prices and fast delivery. Every order i have had they have have given me exactly what i ordered and with the "Expedited Shipping Service" option they have delivered items to me faster than some SA based shops.
If you have a choice between the SA post office and TNT chose the post office. I have had much much better luck shipping with the post office. TNT has a different approach to most companies, they think that invoices or any notifications should only be sent on request and that random admin fees of R437 after they have your package hostage are a good way to promote return business. They also like to play hard to get and not respond to emails and answering every 50th or so phone call is good enough for them. However they do give you subtle clues for example if your tracking page has "Shipment arrived at TNT location" a few times this means that they are holding your cargo because you owe them money and they are waiting for you to go and beg for an invoice and if you spend enough time calling and emailing them you might be lucky enough to get a response and will eventually be sent an invoice with ridiculous charges that you have to pay because they have a well planned scam running. After emailing them prof of payment and begging for a response i got an email saying payment received and that my package was going to be delivered i was in complete shock that they actually responded to me. I'm still doubt full that my package will be delivered but now i have a glimmer of hope. If the package doesn't arrive soon though i think Im just going to re-order with a proper shipping company and accept this cargo as lost. So far i have spent over R1500 trying to ship a R2000 order and I still do not have my package. R2000 (On package) R900 (TNT Shipping Cost, I agreed to this price) R427 (TNT "Admin Fees", this fee only appears after they have your package hostage) R231 (Customs and vat, this is understandable)
On the 07th of May my phone line and thus my adsl line went down and I report this to Telkom. On the 8th they came out and fixed my line but after 2 hours it went down again, After phoning them every day and nagging them they finally sent someone out again on the 18th this time my phone line was connected for 3 hours before it went down again. Is this company so incompetent that it can’t even connect 2 wires together for longer than a few hours?! Since the problem is fixed every time these idiots clime up a ladder and fiddle with the wire at the box the problem is obviously a broken copper strand. If the technician can’t fix it by themselves I am available to show them how to do their job. I just want my line fixed.
