I received a call from the company citing I am over paying. I asked the lady what a I over paying on and she went into my credit score WITHOUT MY CONSENT and proceeds to send me an sms that I have consented. Where did they get my information from? I didn't CONSENT for an assessment. That's contravening the POPI ACT. Then the lady suddenly says that I don't have debt. WHO GAVE HER CONSENT? WHY DO THEY RANDOMLY CALL PEOPLE AND GO IN THEIR PROFILES? I called to get clarity and I asked to speak to the manager, Jolene, who hasn't called me to date. I want fully clarity as to who gave them my information because I have never interacted with these people before. I have also reported them to the Regulations Board and called a media house to have coverage on on this ************ company. It's not right and I want answers.
I bought items and Mr Price Mall of Africa. They have a strategy of pushing sales. They put wrong tags sizes on items. Obviously, of you know your size, you will check the tag and off you go. This is the 4th time I need to buy the same product because I can't even find my slip. To top it off, I called the call center and spoke to an agent and well well well, my call was disconnected. TWICE!!!!
I was told that if I serve notice before my contact ends, I will be given some money back. I was not even given the money back and I paid for an extra tag that I was told that once I give it back, I will be refunded. That has not happened. These people are crooks and will swindle you fwhen you are trying to do the right thing. The extra tag is now an issue as it's a answer of how Covid affected them. Well don't you think that everyone was affected? This company is a mickey mouse playhouse and will take you for a ride to nowhere land. I am livid and disgusted in their dealings. I just want what is due to me and I can finally part ways with this ludicrous company. Just imagine. One would think that they are professionals but it's actually the opposite.
I always shop online and today I tried Makro. For more than 5 hours, I couldn't even check out. Guess what? The appliances I wanted to buy have been sold out. Mind you, in the process, my password was reset by Mpho Moruthane and then my profile deactivated and a hell lot more. I wasted so much time and effort trying to sort it out. And yes, appliances sold out nationwide but they still encourage people to shop online. What a joke. The worst experience by far. I. Most likely to get an automated response of how they value their customers. Same old same old. My advice: NEVER EVER SHOP ONLINE WOTH MAKRO. YOU WILL REGERT IT.
I am highly pregnant, place is very much close to empty. Waited more than 30 minutes for an order. No apology until I felt very dizzy due to waiting. I left the place without being served. Trash service. Not recommended for anyone to go there.
We have been following up with Lebogang Matlou who never returns emails in regards to the defective beds we have bought. We are always told that Ursula Marcus will contact us but months after so much follow ups, we get no response. Its so tiring.
I get called again for recollection. Now I am divided into 8. How many people do I have pay? How long will African bank sort out my issues now that they are bullying me to correct their mistakes? I am sick and tired. All of my complaints haven't been solved since December 2018!!!! This is trash service.
A month later and I am still running from pillar to post. I have been doing my part by staying off work to sort out my account. I guess I the stupid one for trying to do the right thing by trying to arrange payments. Then I get a call of they will convince you that I am full of bull**** in not do many words. African bank has really tested me. All I wanted is my confirmation letter and the way forward. How long should I stay off work to sort out a mess that I am running up and down with. The service suck. Everything that has to do with African bank sucks. They cannot help you. they will lie and make false promises and yet not deliver. It’s totally ****ed up how they treat their clients. Word of advice: Never get this pathetic bank to help you with because you will regret the day you sign up with them!
