Worst insurance company The worst insurance you can ever have!! I have been their client for over 5 year, paying consistently and now I missed one payment, I asked them to debit twice on the next payment date and the agent rep**** and said they have attached a form form me, but there was no form attached, now they are telling me that my policy has lapsed because of owing only 2 premiums. Which I am begging them to deduct immediately! Imagine begging someone to take your own money! I have been loyal to them all those year and now they are telling me about not being able to reinstate a lapsed contract after they failed to send me the proper documentation! And one missed debit and then the next month they ddnt deduct! Don’t ever take this policy! They will waste your years and dump you like you never existed. They will reply on hello peter saying someone will call me back but never do!!! Still waiting for a call since 30March

I took up a payment holiday in May 2025(it was approved) and I was told on the call that I will be charged interest (I agreed and said its fine because I have taken up a payment holiday before and the interest is normally not bad) I did not receive any form of written communication to say my account will be restructured (months increased). Come August my premium was increased to a whopping R17 000 from the R11 000 i used to pay. I wouldn’t understand why and how. I tried applying for the arrears to be spread out but it was declined. Then I was recently took by a consultant from VAF that my loan term was increased to 2026 and I was supposed to receive communication to advise me of this. However I haven’t received this communication from both DCC and VAF. I am struggling to afford the R17 000 which initially I did not agree to, if I was told back in May that this will my fate I wasnt going to agree to the payment holiday. Can this be investigated, together will my vehicle loan term for vehicle 0618692****1 on what is happening and why I was not told of this term increase . I was supposed to be done with paying for my vehicle December 2025 and then payment the balloon payment balance however now I am in a difficult situation that I did not consent and agree to
I got such a cold and rude call this morning from a consultant from standard bank vehicle collections department! She hung up on me as I tried to explain to her my situation and how we can find a way forward! Ive been a client of standard bank for decades and they always provide me with good service and their consultants always are empathetic and helpful but this one?? I demand the call to be listened to and the consultant to send me a formal apology via email! The way she was so rude I ddnt even get her name, we are all going through problems but for someone to hang up on me when she is the one who called me? Very uncalled for!

I have been trying to change the date of my payment for one of my cars but standard bank has been making it impossible for me! A simple thing! Their call center is horrible!! You will hold for about 30mins waiting to speak to someone
My grandmother was called during the week, she is 83 years old and cannot comprehend anything! She was sold a policy she did not even understand what is for, had I not checked her phone messages I was not gonna see it!!! Cancel that ****en policy!!!!!!I will go to the ombudsman if this is not solved!! Listen to the call you can clearly hear she does not understand anything!!! Information about Andy Nel motors Andy Nel motors was sold *******ly to Total SA , it was owned by Nelson Poto and Andrew Tladi, it started to function around 1993 and in 1997 it didn't function well then Total lease it to Three way motors, in 2010 the filling station was sold to Mr Tladi for the amount of 2 million, Mr Poto who was also a share holder didn't get any cent from the sales as in the letter they said he resigned and by the time they sold the filling station Mr Poto was critically ill in hospital and he later died in May. So we would like to ask Total SA how can they sell the garage to one partner who used different ID numbers when selling the garage and why they only paid one share holder while they were two?
