Brilliant service by the City and Durbanville Municipal Office. I renewed 2 car licences mid July via the city's e-services. After not having received anything for 2 months courtesy of the Post Office, I followed up via email. Received a response in 1 day to say that my licences were dispatched basically a day after. I called the number and spoke to Sisonke. She asked me to hold on while she was trying to sort it and then said, that Mr Matikane would call me back to arrange for collection. He called within an hour and arranged for me to collect my licenses from Durbanville Municipal Office, arranged with Cheslyn Fredericks my collection. Went to collect the following day and was again blown away by the friendly, efficient service, World class service - Thank You!!!
Ordered a product on 20/02/2023. Order confirmation states free shipping (5-8 shipping days). What they don't state is that the product first gets ordered from China. You get a tracking number which at this stage states the product arrived in Joburg 2 weeks ago. Email support is shocking with delayed response from Sarah (no surname, no phone number, no other contact details). Requested a refund but was told, it had already been ordered (seemingly in single units) and I first had to receive the product and then contact them about a refund (obviously return shipping at my cost). Clearly a dropshipper with questionable service. Still waiting to see if I receive my item.
Signed up my business with their business tool Protool. Did not yield a lot of results and I cancelled after 6 months. Never heard back from them for over a year but then received an attorneys letter that the account had been handed over due to 2 unpaid invoices. I never once received a statement alerting me to any outstanding invoices nor reminders - shocking business behaviour and will never ever use Gumtree again.
Returned my order as it was incorrectly advertised (something I complained about previously but the online shop description was never changed despite their supplier changing the product). Confirmed bank account details on 02/02/2022 and was told that it would take up to 7 working days to show up. Followed up on 14/02 and was told it had been escalated. Followed up again 16/02 and just received automated email saying that if my inquiry is about an order they will try to get back the same day. Seems, if it is with regards to a credit they will never respond.
Placed an order on 24 December 2021. It did say that deliveries would be a bit slower than usual over the festive season and normally they ship within a few days. I have tried calling all their extensions between Xmas and New Year and on 04/01/2021 but no-one picks up. If you are an online shop, you make sure you communicate your availability correctly and honestly. Have not received any reaction on FB Messenger either. Or are they still in business????
I signed up some time back but then informed them that I do not want to proceed at this stage. However, since early February 2021, every Monday at 1pm without fail, I receive an email asking if I require more support. I have tried to - unsubscribe: button does not work - respond to the email that it comes from: it bounces - write to [email protected]: it bounces - contacted them via Messenger twice: they said they would look into it, a 2nd time an employee gave me her direct email, without any result - wrote on their FB page: got deleted - wrote on Insaka's page: someone gave me the co-founders name - contacted the co-founder Adewale Adejumo via Insaka's page directly: no response In the age where every business is stressing about being POPI compliant, they are blissfully unaware/don't care/non-responsive. I could of course just block them, but that would not make them any more compliant.
Placed an online order on 7 November 2020, which after many follow ups was finally delivered on 9 December 2020 but they delivered the wrong items. After trying to phone, send emails and contacting them via Messenger (which seems the only way to get any response whatsoever), Hezron Ngobeni finally responded via email to say it will be escalated to the supply chain team. Someone eventually called me to confirm that they will be replacing the items via courier. That is the last I have heard of them. No response to my emails, Messenger or phone calls (which never get through anyway). Absolutely pathetic for an international company.
I found Rocket Trading on Facebook and ordered 6000l water from them on a Sunday. I got an immediate response and water was delivered on Monday at 10 am. The price was very competitive and the service, punctuality, communication, and friendliness was outstanding! #SupportLocal
I recently bought a KreepyKrauly and was told that I needed to return a warranty card in order for it to be active. The warranty card requires full address, phone number and ID number. I felt uncomfortable sending it by post and contacted the email address on their website ********** on 19.07.2018 to ask if I could email it. When I never received a response I followed up on 29.07.2018. Again no response. I called the one number on their website and was told the mailbox was full. I then called the 2nd number a few times but the phone just goes dead. There does not seem to be any way of contacting the company.
Brilliant service by the company. I had a complaint about one of their skincare products, which I logged on Facebook Messenger. Within hours I had a response, saying I would be contacted. This happened promptly and the concern was addressed in a really nice way. Thank you to Noelene and Beiersdorf for their great service.
