These people are just terrible in general when it comes to customer service. You simply cannot get through on the phone. Their WhatsApp service is just as terrible. You get completely ghosted. I have literally contacted 5 branches over WhatsApp and the level of customer service is just beyond unbelievable. How are these people still in business but they are so terrible with their customer service??
The worst when it comes to customer service. This company ignores all forms of communication. The phone rings unanswered. No one responds to emails. No way to get assistance via the app - no way to track orders via the app - no updates via the app. The app is basically useless. But there's an Ai assistant to show you stuff you might like? How about introducing live chat support all day 5 days a week? How about you have dedicated people available on the phone lines to actually assist customers? How about you actually have dedicated people whose responsibility it is to respond to customer emails?
I don't think I will renew my Takealotmore service again. Packages don't come on time. Order before 10 AM get it same day delivered by 7 PM is such a lie. I ordered something last night that promised to be delivered by 7 pm today - Saturday 25 April 2026 and it has not been delivered. This happened on my last delivery also where it was promised same day delivery and that too never happened. The driver who brought my package said there were no drivers available? Why then make the service available and then not be able to deliver by the Takealotmore "promise" of same day delivery provided the order is placed before 10 AM which it was on both occasions? I think I will consider closing my account and be done with Takealot. Amazon.co.za has not let me down in this manner. Guess I'll spend hard money with Amazon. Can't wait until their Prime service kicks off in South Africa.
Not happy with customer service. First time I am making an order with this company, and I have to keep chasing them up. Very bad communication. Hopefully I get my things that I ordered.
Your Tokai branch is very unprofessional. They send you from pillar to post. Very unprofessional in store, and ignore you as a customer on their WhatsApp line and on the phone. I wish never players can come into the automotive parts supply industry. These guys think they are the bees knees, and we as customers have to suck up and be satisfied with disgusting sub par service.
Acer your technical support sucks big time. You are not even willing to assist customers who purchase Acer products. My laptop hinges are giving in, the plastic casing around the screen is separating from the screen itself. My battery is starting to show its age. I have contacted your company more than once requesting assistance with these issues, and all I got was scapegoating and referring me elsewhere to other companies. How can Acer Technical product support not be in a position to assist customers regarding Acer products? How does that make any sense? Acer, you guys are a useful as a parachute on an elephant. I will never in my life purchase an Acer product again. I deeply regret buying an Acer branded laptop.
While I am satisfied with the products, product offerings and customer service provided by Wootware, I am extremely disappointed with their recruitment process. I am looking to make a change in my career because there is no more growth at the company where I am. I've always been interested in working at Wootware to learn about computers and computer parts. I app**** for two posts at Wootware. Their confirmation emails after submitting applications states two business days to find out if you move on to an interview or not. I waited longer than the two days stipulated and when I finally got the rejection letters, I requested additional information as to what I can do to improve so that I can try again when more opportunities become available with the company. Now I have been completely shafted ( ghosted). Wootware don't drop the ball now. You guys do so well with customer service but your recruitment department is letting you down.
I'm starting to think that this is a problem across the board with branches in the Western Cape. I contact the Tokia branch via their WhatsApp channel and I attempted to call the store. On WhatsApp I was completely ignored, ghosted and my calls rang unanswered. So this is not an isolated problem with just one particular branch, it seems to be a universal problem with almost all their stores. What is going on Goldwagen, do you want us to shop elsewhere for our automotive parts? Because if you can't even get your staff to pick up the phone or even bother checking the WhatsApp messages from clients, then that says alot about you think about customers that are keeping you in business in such a volatile economy where many businesses are downscaling and closing their doors.
My Runway is a ****. They remove items from your wish list without your knowledge or consent. There were two of the same items that I was planning to purchase as soon as pay day came. Those items are gone from my wish list now and I so badly wanted them. Just did not have the cash to buy them. My Runway, instead of being sneaky or doing things without your customers knowledge or consent, how about you send a push notification through your app and email to the customer that the item that is in a customers wish list is no longer available or is going to be removed well in advance so that the customer can then make alternative plans or source alternative items... my Runway you people suck big time and I will be closing my account for good. We don't need such bad service. We have enough bad service in SA in general
This place should close its doors. Time for new players to enter the automative parts industry. I just came from their Mitchells Plain branch because I need parts for for my VW City Golf. Whenever I seems to go this particular branch, they either never have stock of items or their sales representatives dont know how to read the system...maybe more adequate training is required? Their Ottery branch is just as bad. While the in store experience is somewhat better, its more than what can be said about their Whatsapp service. Representatives take forever to respond to customer queries, most times you get ignored, chats just gets disconnected without fully assisting the customer or resolving any customer facing issue. Do you realize in this days and age, when businesses are closing to due volatile economy and Ai, that you should be bending over backwards for the customers that keep you in business? Utterly disgusting service. Please tell you representatives at your Ottery branch to assist customer and to stop ignoring customer queries via the Whatsapp and call channel. Major work is needed with your Mitchell's Plain branch. Unfriendly, unhelpful staff and for some reason always out of stock
