I cannot say enough about this man. He is simply the best. He goes beyond to ensure you are safe and looked after. I had spinal fusion L4/L5 in May 2025. I was extremely scared but the way he took his time and attention on my op was incredible. One very important thing is he LISTENS to you however much you waffle on asking questions! Also his branch manager Yolande goes the extra distance in assisting the whole way from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly highly recommended :)
The plaza has been off line since Tuesday. The delays are **********!! Why dont they take the knock and let everyone drive straight through? No they make it our problem and they sit and have to write down credit card numbers if peope dont have cash! Its ridiculous too that only 2 or the 3 gantries were open, travelling North today. THE PHONE NUMBER DOES NOT WORK EITHER!! Someone please sort this out.
I was sceptical after seeing some reviews so only ordered a small amount. I have to say that when the goods arrived I was very very happy with the results and have placed another order. Cant fault them on the items but would like it if the supply/delivery time could be less. I ordered on 30th Oct and received on 16th Nov. Otherwise no complaints!!
I purchased a Singer 4423 online from them on Thursday 2nd Oct and it was delivered on Monday 6th Oct. Outstanding service and will definitely go back to them! So happy....Thank you.

We were at Makro Vanderbijlpark on Saturday 27th and it was pouring with rain so I picked up an umbrella while shopping. we literally got out side and pressed the buttom to put it up and the whole thing fell apart. I took it to the entrance and asked to just swop it over. NO I have to go to returns. I stood in returns for 20 minutes waiting. I then got a credit note. By this time we did not go back into buy another one as we would have to now stand in queues again! This is totally ridiculous that I could not just have swopped the product with the slip etc. You would not have this issue at any other store like Pick N Pay for instance!!
Just before paying tried to contact them with no avail. Saw bad reviews. No telephones worked. on Whatsapp we asked for proof of stock they just ignore you and never heard from again.
overall experience is fine but I am rating this badly. Every single year they send you notification of the premium increase, and every year it is a 25% slamdunk!! I phone every year and they change it to approx 5% increase! Fine, but why do they try and rip you off first?? Not everyone will check these things and assume its ok. I am not impressed with this attitude and it should change. If its 'the system' then change the system % increase to be more in line with cost of living!!
