I went to buy a Karate suit, and the shop owner was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. In the end i even got a discount, coming in under the prices i found on TakeAlot. They also sell kit for most sport. I recommend them.
I waited 10 minutes for a ride that showed it was 1 minute away. When I canceled the ride, Bolt charged me R19. Don't let their slightly cheaper prices *** you.
I went to the clinic at Dis-Chem in Campus Square. The Sisters were SUPER efficient and friendly. My form was processed, I received my B12 injection, and did an Iron test in a matter of 15 minutes. I don't know if this is the service at all Dis-Chem Clinics, but it really should be. Alison
This is a warning to never use this company. I ask for a quote form CJ Refrigeration & Air Conditioning to fix my Defy's door handle. I sent an image of the machine and what was broken. I was quoted R650 by Mathews. They took the part somewhere and came back about an hour later. They didn't replace it, but had fixed it with "Bond". Then they said the door lock was broken and went away to buy a new one. It was R470. It took them 3 hours to install the new lock. I paid R350 via e-wallet and R300 in cash. After I did the first load washing the door wouldn't open, which was the reason I hired them in the first place. I texted to let them know. They arrived this morning, fiddled with the machine, and were ready to leave when I looked at the machine first. The door handle was STILL broken and when I pointed it out, he started screaming at me. I showed that the door was loose and he kept on screaming at me that I didn't pay him for his petrol going to fetch the machine lock. He wouldn't let me get a word in, talking over me, then stormed out, and took my key to let himself out. So now I am R650 poorer and still have a broken machine. Do not use this guy he is rude and doesn't know what he is doing.
I have been using DTF Printing in Cape Town for almost a year now. Their service and products are excellent, and I recommend them to anyone who needs Direct Transfers artwork printed. Well done, guys.
What can say, but that it was a painless experience. The agents were fast and very efficient. The paperwork was all done by them and I was paid the same day they collected the papers and the car. These are all things they promise in their ads and I can vouch that this is how it happened.
I have used Midas in Blackheath on a number of occasions, most recently to buy a headlight for my Mini. Not only are their prices really good, but the guys replaced the headlight for me, then and there. The staff also looks like they LIKE working there - which is almost unheard of in the retail sector. Well done to them all.
I purchased a "high-pressure washer" from Snatcher for R628 in August 2020. The machine was absolutely pointless as you had to plug it into a car lighter -which my car doesn't have - and secondly, how do you wash your car exterior with the machine plugged inside? I personally delivered the machine back to their offices. I didn't keep my reference but eventually received all the information from Payfast. I forwarded it to Snatcher and they said they'll escalate to the finance department. I have since sent 4 emails asking about the status, but I have been ignored. I would like to remind anyone who do purchases online to vet the companies first. There a lot of charlatans out there.
I had my Huawei P40 Lite for a month when my screen cracked. One of my decisions to take this phone was a 100-day free screen replacement. I took my phone in on 31 July to the Huawei Store in Melrose Arch. * Since then I had to supply them with multiple documents (of which there was no mention when I took my phone in). * I have supplied every single piece of paperwork they asked for. * Last week, (5 weeks after I handed in my phone), a consultant I eventually got hold of on WhatsApp, send me the store's rejection of my claim: they didn't fix it because the "client didn't want to wait for the repairs"!! I have been waiting for 5 weeks! *the consultant told me he will contact the store directly and will let me know their feedback immediately. It is 2 days later and still no word. I asked a consultant this morning what the status is of my phone repairs. He told me I have to schlep back to the Melrose Arch store (where you queue on average 1 hour to get in. They don't have a direct contact number and no direct email address. My hope is that anybody reading this, keep this extremely poor 'service' in mind before purchasing a Huawei device. Also, speak to your friends to ask them if they are happy with the device and all the apps that are not available.
