Firstly, I have a payment plan With Saya for a SARS amount I owe. I sent a whatsapp this past Wednesday requesting banking detail confirmation and a confirmation that I want to pay. Nothing happened. Today, they took my ENTIRE salary against that amount with no warning, no phone call, no response to my whatsapp. I don't have a cent and I'm sole breadwinner. Absolute bunch of gangsters thriving on the misery of others. They claim their system is off-line so they can't look at my file. How convenient! But their system was good enough to take my salary away !!!
Loadshedding in S.A. is here to stay. We will never recover the infrastructure, the cost is too high and Government has other financial agendas. WHY then does Nedbank not invest in inverters for its ATMs. Do they not care about their clients enough not to appreciate the dilemma of clients wishing to transact at an ATM that is suddenly OFF and having to drive around to another suburb hoping to find another ATM that's not loadshed or worse, incurring costs at other bank ATM. Come on Nedbank, you make millions out of us, how about a little return to us for that loyalty !!?
About three weeks ago, I complained about decline in coverage coinciding with fiber link roll out. Vodacom acknowledge and said consultant would be in contact. Since then, NOTHING. Vodacom, you are pathetically incompetant and your middle and top management are an insult to your general employees who do try and assist. Maybe stop and think that on a farm, given crime stats, cell contact might mean the difference between life and death. Get your act together Vodacom, you are a SERVICE, not just a profit machine for share holders.
We live on a small holding off Kragga Kama, PE. Cell reception was always medium the past five years. However, since the rollout of fiber through PE, the reception is poor to non-existant for hours on end! WHY?? Is this an attempt to force users into aquiring fiber link technology by deliberately sabotaging the existing cell tower's coverage ? We will never support fiber, nor can we understand the need to dig up the entire city's sidewalk to install it ... sidewalk by the way, that will NEVER be returned to their existing state. As are the numerous road of which the asphalt has been channeled, never repaired proper,.. all in the name of fiber technology ... yuk !

I have had a vodacom contract since day one when the Nokia brick-pull-out- aerial was lauched all those years ago. But now i wonder if that loyalty was well placed or even relevant. When my current contract came ip for renewal and upgrade i chose to go from an S4 to the just launched S7 Edge. The Vodacom franchise I support initially told me ten day wait for stock. Fine, I waited. Ten days later they then said that my profile did not support an S7 upgrade. Frustrated I phoned Customer care where lo and behold I was told no problem, they would have the phone delivered to my door within 48 hours. Fantastic! I received the phone no issues, no problem. That was in April this year. Three weeks ago I accidently dropped the phone, display shattered. Took it in to appointed agent for warranty repair and was told I needed a POP. So I asked my Vodacom franchise but was told that because I had dealt directly with Vodacom, I had to request it there instead. So I did and received both a soft copy and printed POP. Providing this document now to the repair agent I am told the document is not legible enough. Samsung will not honour warranty. I tell them that its the best Vodacom can provide and still they refuse to honour warranty screen replacement. That was three weeks ago and still I dont have a phone. Now unless I am mistaken, I am mot responsible for document quality. So why is it dear Vodacom and Samsung that I am the one with no phone yet having to pay contract fees nonetheless. Both of you are in breach of contract for not honouring your one free screen replacement warranty and further, holding me responsible for a documents printed quality over which I have no control. Seems like Vodacom/Samsung are more interested in securing new contracts than looking after the ones they already have. Shame on you both. I will now seek legal councel should mothing transpire from this posting.
