A package of mine was shipped on the 16th of April 2026 through fedex and paid for a international priority shipping, the package only arrived the package arrived on the 3rd in SA, i then received a delivery exception stating fedex can't deliver due to not being able to collect payment but i didn't receive any communication from them attempting to collect. I then contacted them myself to make the payment and also app**** for my delivery address to be amended as my initial address was in a remote area and i thought this would expedite the process of me getting my package. The package was due for delivery yesterday 06/05/2026 but FedEx still handed my package over to their service provider that services my other adress which now further delayed my delivery. I phoned fedex and spoke to Siya and i said i want to rather come collect my package in person and awaited his feedback, i subsequently pboned back again and heard that the service provider would only give the package back today and i would get my package tomorrow this is really frustrating, i had to use that package yesterday, I'm not happy with fedex service.
I went to Edleen McDonald's in kempton park this morning, i bought a grand chicken spicy hot regular meal with a cuppaccino and a blueberry ****in, i paid R122,20 the fries i received were so old i couldn't stomach it, i googled their number and attempted to contact them but the number didn't go through. Macdonalds cant charge such top dollar and still serve old chips this is very bad for such a long standing restaurant.
Cancelation nightmare trying to cancel an add on but dstv is still debiting my account, even after i contacted the 3rd party add on which is Netflix. Dstv has been taking my money every night.
submitted a claim on the 23/10/2024 for a faulty inverter, santam appointed a service provider and they came on the 25/10/2024 upon their arrival they advised that they would like to remove my inverter and take it to their workshop for thorough assessment, upon them removing the inverter my whole electricity in the house went off, they subsequently reconnected the electricity however i was left with some of my plugs not working my surveillance system not working and my gate motor and outside lights not working. Now here's the problem Santam came back on Friday advising that because my inverter is against the wall they dont cover that sighting that i must claim from my building insurance, now my problem is why could they not tell me this before they sent someone to remove my device and left me without plugs working, I'm now far worse off cause i have no plugs in certain areas if my house and when their service provider arrived my whole house had electricity. I urge everyone to go through their contents insurance with santam because their reason for rejection means if you have aircons wall mounted and tvs wall mounted santam will not cover its a very unpleasant situation indeed to pay people and when its claim time they have stories i thought santam was good and proper but it looks like they the same like the other.
FNB new style of only having one teller at their branches is a huge inconvenience as one has to wait close to an hour just to see a bank teller, Fnb really needs to look into this for such an innovative bank.
Dstv are ********* they are now forcing us to change to their new ultra decoders, i noticed last week that they have now updated showmax and it's no longer compatible with our old decoders, i purchased the explora 3A model approximately 2-3yrs ago on their price lock package, that means its not such an old decoder they are now giving me a pop up saying showmax is no longer available on this explora, do we now have to buy e new decoder every 2 years and also dstv doesn't communicate or give us alternatives, they simply tell us we must get the new ultra decoder. Very poor move from multichoice considering how people are switching over to alternative platforms.
I bought a "new" audi Rs3 from audi centre menlyn in December, took delivery of the vehicle on the 29th of December, so i recently enquired as to the duration of the warranty and service plans at my local dealer, and to my surprise it shows warranty already started in August 2023, now in all my history of owning new audis the warranty and freeway plan is supposed to start on the day you take delivery, i brought this to the attention of the salesmen and subsequently to audi south-africa aswell, the dealer solution was to type me an email stating that they will extend the warranty on the last year of ownership of the car. Here is my problem dealerships are frequently changing staff members, what if i get to the dealership after 5yrs and show them this agreement and they say they aren't aware of this agreement as the person i agreed with is no longer working there. Also i have a previous audi Rs3 which the warranty expired in 2022 May i came to the dealership unaware that the warranty expired and wanted to claim a light that was turning yellow on the LED in June 2022 and audi simply told me warranty had expired. Audi is robbing me of 4months of warranty time whereas they turned me away cause of a warranty that expired a month ago I'm not getting any assistance regarding this matter this is the 5th Audi I'm owning and as an old client im truly dissapointed with the service.
I'm a volkswagen audi financial service client for the past 10 years and have always paid cash as my payment method even on my previous contract i paid cash, I'm now phoning to arrange to pay cash and the lady Lorraine Laltha informs me there's no way that it can be done even though all my contracts have been cash, i prefer the cash method because I'm able to pay in advance and not have the hassle of the debit order coming back unpaid because my invoices sometimes gets paid out late, so she clearly is either uninformed or didn't want to help me, very poor service.
Fedex South-Africa is the worst courier service, i sent a package to the USA they collected the package from me on the 12/02/2024 and when they received it requested a few outstanding information regarding the package, i submitted all required information and even did a follow up with the lady that requested the information and she confirmed they've received the documents and will now be exported to the USA, today is the 26th and my package still hasn't left South-Africa, this is really poor service.
Very poor service from santam, my inverter failed after the heavy weather on the 08/01/2024 i reported it to my broker who lodged a claim with santam on the 09/01/2024 santam didn't contact me ever since i just received an sms about the claim being registered, not a single consultant or representative from santam phoned me, i was without power on some components in my house as some of them are directly linked to the inverter, till today 16/01/2024 i haven't heard from santam and have since made alternative means, i guess its not always good and proper insurance.
