Hello Peter, please note my review comes as a plea to the Musica Chain Stores Management. You can't just end an Era like this! When I read on the times live that Musica Chain Stores is closing down, I was devastated! We are talking about the only Musica shop standing after all these years. I understand with online music and movies the need to get an original hard copy CD/DVD is something of the past and one that only a collector would understand, and lover of music and movies would understand. But there are collectors out there ! Example I started the Marvel collection and managed to get the whole Phase 1 to 3 which ended with Avengers Endgame. Phase 4 is rolling out and how will I be able to continue this collection? With Original DVD's? So Tony Stark dies, and so does the Era of the Musica stores and phase 4 of the Avengers and the ones to follow are just something of the past. This just cannot be the End of this Era. I do believe that there is no need for 78 Musica chain stores, but I do however suggest that Musica considers a centralized store in JHB, CT and Durban where orders/collections can be made, giving collectors the opportunity to continue their hobbies and collect the master pieces of movies and music as originals. The services Musica stores have provided to myself over the years has been of exceptional service. It's so sad that this service has now come to it's end. Please reconsider this End of Era!
I recently joined OutSurance due to the covid pandemic. I was with "X" insurance company and had to drop my insurance from a fully comprehensive cover to a third party cover as my monthly contribution were too high over lockdown. I was approached by an OutSurance broker called George Hanos and he asked if he could quote me. I got fully comprehensive cover at the same installment i was getting with my "X" insurance. I recently went away and due to bad weather or load shedding my electricity tripped and all the meat and perishables in my fridge and freezer went Stale and Spoilt. It was a great loss as i had just been away. I called OutSurance and I was covered for my losses. This claim was completed telephonically by a very well spoken, well knowledged gentleman called Nish Naidoo. Once OutSurance received my supporting documents the claim was processed and paid in less than a week. I am extremely happy with their services and hope to have same in the years to come. Well Done to Customer Service!
On Saturday I left my car keys in the ignition while trying to jump start my battery and I managed to lock the car with the keys in the ignition. I am a Discovery Insure client and changed my insurance cover due to lock-down, I then proceeded to call Discovery Insure for guidance. Discovery referred me to GP Locksmith in Alberton, one of their service providers. I called GP Locksmith and they were very helpful and came to assist me late afternoon with a call out fee of R750.00. The guys came out and managed to get the key out of the ignition but left the car locked. I was very misfortunate as I had the key of my car in my hand but could not open the car. I called the locksmith to tell them what was going on, but the response on the other side was aweful. They told me the job was done, I should have checked before the guys left the premises, the car would not open due to the battery being dead but the job was done. I got the key and that is what they were paid to do. I then asked what kind of a locksmith gives the keys to a door that does not open, could they to please assist otherwise how could i jump start the car if it would not open! They said that they were going to charge me an additional R750.00 as the guys had left the premises and that would be another call out fee. I mentioned that i was a Discovery Insure client and they the reduced the amount from R750.00 to R395.00 to open the car for me. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service / service delivery! If Discovery Insure called their service provider, I am sure I would have been given excellent service, but due to the fact i called in privately recommended by Discovery Insure that wasn't good enough. Does GP Locksmith know what good customer service is? I don't think so, if they knew what good customer service / service delivery was they would not hand me keys without an open door, and complain about how difficult is was to get the key. What kind of locksmiths give you keys to a car that can open? Complain about the job being tough to do, asking how much the job was quoted and still not doing the job properly? Services Providers do not take Private call-in for granted they are referred by someone!
It was home time and I opened my car as usual and put all my stuff in the boot as a normal routine only to realise I had put my handbag with my car keys, cell phone and locked my boot, with no spare keys and nobody to take me home. I then called Discovery Insure and a well spoken compassionate Peter Thabo Mokoena was on the other side to assist. Thabo was efficient, and put a panicked client into peace of mind. Central Locksmiths Johannesburg was sent to site and in no time I was with my car keys in my hand and ready to go home. During this time Thabo from Discover Insured called to follow up on service provide and kept me updated on progress for the logged call. Thank you Discovery Insure for coming to the rescue. 10/10 once again for a job well done!
I was driving on M1 South when my car's water pipe burst and I was unable to drive my car further. I called Discovery Insure and was helped by Brandon Pillary and an amazing Tow Truck service assisted me. This process was done quickly and effortlessly. Thank you Brandon and Discovery Insure for all the assistance provided on my break down.
Hi Hello Peter, I'm SO dissatisfied with the service from DSTV Multi-choice. I have taken ownership of my late Grandfather's Multi-choice account and recently "his" decoder has been giving issues, so I had to buy a new one. Unfortunatley the installer of my new device did not know the history of the old device and thought that the transfer of funds from one account to the other would be easy. Truth is I have asking for assistance since mid November 2018 and have been from Columbine Agency to Multi-choice head office and NOBODY is able to assist, the ones that want to can't because the procedures in place are too COMPLICATED to do the transfer of funds. A bank statement and death certificate will not surfice as proof of payment of Death . DSTV wants an Executor letter for a person that died 18 years ago, and proof of payments from a Standing order, the statement won't do. The amount of money I would have to pay an Executor for a letter is not worth the credit due from DSTV to Myself. Why are things so COMPLICATED when it's time to credit or refund a person for something that they have made payment for and have given proof of that payment?
I was legible for an upgrade with Vodacom and went into Telectro for my upgrade. The assistance was fabulous and I highly recommend this service provider for all your upgrade and service issues. A special Thank you goes to Tania Gous who was the assistant that assisted me. What a professional, well spoken and efficient young lady. Well done to all the staff and managers at Telectro for team made for good service.
Hello Peter in desperation and frustration please can you intervene on my behalf. I need to get hold of Standard Bank Insurance Brokers and unfortunately I'm unable to do so through the processes they have in place. I called 0860 123 999 and stayed on the line over a half hour to hear they are getting large call volumes and Thanking me for my patience. I tried going to the website and even emailed ********** and they did not even acknowledge my email. I cannot go to the Branch for assistance as they themselves have to call the CALL CENTRE. l logged a claim with Standard Bank Insurance Brokers on 5/10/2017 and I'm needing assistance with this claim and nobody is there to assist me further. I need Standard to contact me, as I'm not getting any joy trying to get hold of them. Please, please help me.
Hello Peter, kindly note I had fraud being conducted on my MTN number last year 2017. I suspended my account via an MTN retail store. Once my outstanding value was paid I closed my MTN account and requested MTN Legal department to kindly send me a letter confirming full payment and closure of account. I was told that only Legal could assist me with that letter and I have to call the service center to address this request. I called the 083 173, 011 ********** , ********** I emailed ********** ********** and to date NOBODY has come back to me regarding my logged query. It's as if MTN provides a service but does not have competent people working on the other end. The call center is so noisy that you cannot hear the person trying to help you (1), calls get cut-off (2), they off line and transfer the call and we get cut-off again (3), nobody is knowledgeable enough to help you (4), they tell you to call back (5), they take the call but don't deal with the problem and pass the buck to somebody else on another number (5). The service is so bad it just gets worse!!. No matter how hard I tried with this service provider I just continue to get bad service. The service is so bad that 1/5 is just too much of a good score it's more like a 0/5 for the service I had got to date. Hello Peter please can you intercede and address this issue on my behalf as I have tried everything and I'm still not coming right. Maybe you will be able to address this issue and finalize it on my behalf!
<p>Hello Peter kindly note that I live in Ferreira Street, Turffontein and have power failures daily and city power is unable to route the issue of this situation. </p> <p>I'm not even able to log calls via the website, Forcelink Customer Portal does not allow me to log in and does not even reply to the request to reset password.</p> <p> </p> <p>Load Shedding is not an issue at the moment but in Turffontein especially Ferreira Street we are experiencing 12n hours if not more without electricity while our neighbours on the same street on the opposite of the road have electricity, we even have street lights but our property and our neighbours on the same side of the street are without electricity.</p> <p> </p> <p>We log calls our electricity gets re-instated and two or three hours later we without electricity again. We need assistance with this on going issue. Please can you try and assist.</p>
