********* Practices at Moonstone, how is it ethical that you are not allowed to see your exam paper and compare it with the answers even if you cannot keep it? why can you not sit with the person that marks the paper manually and see proof that the exam was marked correctly? that is *********, Even in University when you ask for a remark the lecturer has no problem sitting with you and allowing you to see proof of what answers you got wrong and right even if you will not get to keep the exam paper and answers, Moonstone too may people keep failing with a mark of 64% over and over even if they have written 3 or more times and when they ask to see where they are going wrong Moonstone refuses, I think that the Legal fraternity needs to investigate this issue, they claim honesty and integrity is such a big thing in the Financial Industry yet their practices are not of honesty and integrity, what is it that they are hiding? it is starting to seem like a money making scheme, you make people fail and collect their monies because they wont even get to see proof of their failure.. I will be investigation which Legal methods can be used etc where one can take legal steps to lay a complaint on this issue

This is ridiculous service!!! I booked an exam for the 13 January 2025 , an incorrect reference was used, i called on the 6th to rectify , it was escalated to one of the agents called Marietjie Grant, i did respond back to the agent with relevant information and pop with the dates on the same day. I have sent numerous follow ups with no responds. Bad Service Moonstone

Moonstone has disabled my account, effectively blocking me from making any further exam booking under my profile. Additionally, on the 20th of December they were not answering their phones more than 30 minutes the EARLY YEAR-END CLOSING TIME they themselves set for themselves. So as a result I promptly set up another profile, made a booking for 04th February 2024, paid using the correct invoice number and emailed the proof of payment, yet this morning again they "temporarily" cancelled my booking due to "non-payment"???

Moonstone has disabled my account, effectively blocking me from making any further exam booking under my profile. Additionally, on the 20th of December they were not answering their phones more than 30 minutes the EARLY YEAR-END CLOSING TIME they themselves set for themselves. So as a result I promptly set up another profile, made a booking for 04th February 2024, paid using the correct invoice number and emailed the proof of payment, yet this morning again they "temporarily" cancelled my booking due to "non-payment"???

They way the exams are and they way they say the system checks is bull**** ... They don't even give your paper to see where you went wrong or think the breakdown is correct...yes we need our Re licence but I feel this is a scheme just so they can make money.

My sister wrote re5 exam with moonstone on the 12 June 2024 and she still didn't receive her results,she phones moonstone after some days asking for her results and they told her it will take 10 working days.after 10 working days she sends email and they said she must contact fsca that she did email fsca and Stefanie Rossow responded the following day say moonstone said they found irregularities in the exam and enforcement department will contact her. Till today there is still no communication from FSCA and Moonstone, they don't tell what are those irregularities they found and how long is their turn around time on their investigations.Is a month now and they muted,my sister sends followup to Moonstone Sheila and M Grant, FSCA Stefanie Rossouw and Juanita Smith and no one responded. This is affecting us as a family as my sister can't work at the moment and she is a bread winner in the family. Hellopeter please help on this situation,we need communication and how long this will take.

I wrote my RE5 with moonstone between 2017 and 2018 All the bookings, certifications were done and sent to my then employers email standardbank.. the bank had given us limited time to obtain this and I eventually passed after my 2nd time with moonstone. I have an interview lined up n requested I be sent my certificate copy as I no longer have access to the email address I used cause I no longer work there, I was told they can’t pick up my ID number. The lady never bothered asking my name, surname or even email address to maybe pick up my certificate using a different method as this is already over 6 years ago. It now looks like I’ve **** on my CV as I have absolutely no proof whatsoever that I indeed wrote and passed my exam . I need help please as this is messing with my job hunting

I phoned Moonstone today to request if my email can be updated in order for me to receive my results. The Receptionist (Muldred ) put me on hold till i decided to hang up she continued putting my call on hold.

I was meant to write my RE exam on 14 November [email protected] arrived at the venue (sinosteel plaza Sandton)@12h20.I let Kedibone at the reception know that I've forgotten my ID.which was totally my fault.Kedibone called Elsie on the 6th floor and let her know that I had forgotten my ID so what's the next step.Elsie responded saying I should be sent up to the 6th floor at @12:50 she'll assist me .so I waited at the reception area.@12h50 I got up to remind Kedibone that I'm supposed to go to the 6th but I was told to wait Elsie will call us up . together with the rest of the rep's that will be writing.to my shock when I get to 6th floor Elsie asks me if I don't have anyone at home that can bring the ID before 2pm . of cause I can arrange someone to bring my ID (and I did )but the GPS on bolt estimated that they'll arrive at 14h10, coming from roodepoort Discovery.which means that they won't make it for 2pm .I don't want to sound entitled cause I knew from the word go that the ID is required.but Elsie! Elsie! Elsie!had I been told that this is allowed or can be done . wouldn't I have made those arrangements from the time we got off the call with Elsie (@roughly 12:25pm) and when I tell Kedibone what I was told by Elsie,she tells me she knew but didn't want to get into trouble by telling me that I can arrange for the ID to be brought to sinosteel.because I sat there thinking theres a way such situations are handled at moonstone a way that doesn't involve me having to pay R170 for bolt to bring my ID.im also wondering how many people forfeit their R1220s over an ID.when moonstone make an exception.a PDF or picture of an ID perhaps could save a lot of people the pain of forfeiting an entire 1220.imagine you are already debarred.you can't work .you manage to get 1220 to write the exam you forfeit it over an ID .The exam on its own is already tressful .on top of that ,you get someone like Elsie assing you. Tjo it's a lot .But still believe moonstone can do better.and for me .I'll definitely get a chain so my ID stays around my neck all the time .
