Pathetic service
I had a slow puncher on my front left tyre and wanted to go and have it fixed there. I was stuck in the china mall traffic for almost an hour and knowing that it was a Saturday and they close early I called them while stuck in traffic near the garage and asked the manager if he could ask the petrol attendance to open a way for me since there is an entrance through the garage and he refused. Eventually I made it there 20 minutes before they close and one of the employees said to me “sorry we are about to close so we can’t help you “ which I responded saying “there is still 20 minutes before you close “and went to the manager. He agreed they would help me and asked me to park my car so they can check the tyre. When I was about to park my car the same employee who said they can’t help me came and said he was about to use the space for another car which came before me and I moved out my car.Another guy came and said he would help me and 2 minutes later the manager came and said his machine is not working. The service is shocking and very sad. It’s like they are running some ****a shop or they are doing customers a favour. I drove off because there was no way I was going to pay for such pathetic service, II immediately lost my trust because the manager even started convincing me that I must buy new tyres and told him they are brand new. They wanted to take advantage of me as woman. I went to another service provider where I didn’t have to beg for service.

Pathetic service

I lost R10 000
I purchased two tyres which i used for a month until they started developing bubbles, went back to Bilal at mintys Amalgam where i was told that this is my fault and i should "try" contact the manufacturers directly. Nothing was done and i lost R10 000. After some investigations i found out i was not the only one and mintys has done the same to many other clients, they are known for selling old expired tyres. Do not support mintys by looking at there great deals as it will land up costing you, rather support a proper business with a proper management system.

I lost R10 000

Nothing was done and i lost R10 000. After some investigations i found out i was not the only one and mintys has done the same to many other clients, they are known for selling old expired tyres. Do not support mintys by looking at there great deals as it will land up costing you, rather support a proper business with a proper management system.

Lies, deceipt and dishonesty from MINTYS AMALGAM
Absolutely disgusted with their service On sat we called in to enquire about a specific tyre and the price, we got the information and proceeded to the amalgam branch, we spoke to the sales person and the tyre was brought out and fitted, at the till point the price was R1000-00 rand higher than the quoted price We were quoted over the phone FOUR times a price of R2450-00 and were going to be charged R3450-00 which we refused to pay and told them to remove it, before removing it we even tried to negotiate and were willing to pay R3000-00 for it. The staff members were absolutely unhindered and refused to acknolwedge their mistake. For a company whose directors pride themselves in doing good social work and upliftment of the community they should know full well that their funds are ill gotten and mean absolutely zero. They should either concentrate on business or on social work, because they cannot do both. Reading reviews on their Facebook page actually makes a person doubt that their uslamuc beliefs are honest and true. As muslims they should have proper islamic values and ethics but none whatsoever are shown in the business practice.

Horrible service and experience
Gerald sold me a defective Nexen tyre, I have been inflating the tire over the two weeks I bought and I thought maybe my rim was damaged.little did I know that the tire had a small invisible hole on the side.now they claim there was an impact on the tire hence the hole. What a horrible experience from this Mintys.
