I made a purchase of over R8000. Some accessories were deliberately removed from the packaging. I was not advised of this fact even though I told the salesperson that I did not live close-by and that they should make sure everything was in the box. Upon realising that the items were in fact missing I contacted the store. At first they treated me like a ******** interrogating me. Then a few days days I discovered that they removed the items because they had expired. They refused to courier it to me. I had to drive out of my way and pay parking fee to collect the items.

I signed up for a new contract in August (business account/sponsored billing), the sales consultant (Khaya) signed me up on the wrong contract (prepaid instead of the same contract I've signed up for for the past 3yrs. I realized this when I tried to buy data on the app to be added to my monthly bill as I've normally done in the past years, I went to the store to enquire this from the same consultant (Khaya) he acknowledged his mistake and asked me to bring the sim card so that he can replace it with the correct one and sign the correct contract, and informed me that unfortunately I will have to wait for the next month for this contract to be loaded. I went to the store again after my phone was suspended and checked with Khaya again, there were 3 numbers which were loaded in the system. The consultant misrepresented the deal, he said Ill only be paying for one number (0722113233) he said the other number comes as an extra for the promotion they re running. the other number which starts with 066 was eventually cancelled, but the other 2 new numbers are still billed . I was both extra numbers to be removed from my contract and remain with only 07222113233 which is my primary work number paid by my employer.

I’m extremely disappointed. My kids and I were stuck in an elevator at Fourways Mall for 1 hour 30 minutes. Their supplier, OTIS, couldn’t get a technician there in time because they were “coming from far.” How does a major mall — or OTIS — not have a technician nearby for emergencies like this? Unacceptable. On top of everything, we made several calls to the emergency number inside the elevator, and the centre kept promising to call us back — they never did. I ended up calling them to check on the technician’s progress. This is not how safety emergencies should be handled

I am traveling to the USA later tonight and I needed to get some dollars from FNB Fourways mall branch. I arrived at 11:00 and I was told the individual who handles forex is on lunch and no one else could assist. I waited 45 minutes during bank operating hours and this individual was still not back from lunch. I was forced to withdraw cash and exchanged it at Standard Bank and incurred all those charges that I coud have avoided if this bank equiped their branch with the requisite staff. Totally pathetic.

I am traveling to the USA later tonight and I needed to get some dollars from FNB Fourways mall branch. I waited 45 minutes during bank operating hours and this individual was still not back from lunch. So angry. My children and I went to Naledi (the plane) at the mall. There is a slide going from the top to the floor which is adult sized. I went down the slide first and my children followed. This slide is so steep and so fast... which would be fine if the landing was right. It's not. There is a sharp drop of about a foot onto a hard floor. I hit the floor so hard and have now damaged my coccyx. That was two weeks ago and I have been in constant pain. BUT good thing I went down first. I could tell my 5 year old to slow himself down and caught my 2 year old. If I had not caught her, she would have gone flying off the slide and been hurt as well. I have mailed the mall and received no feedback or apology. All that need to be done is to put a soft landing pad but the lack thereof means that more people are going to get hurt.

On July 6, 2025, I visited the Mr. Price store in Fourways with my wife and 2-year-old daughter to purchase a dress for my daughter. After paying for the dress and receiving a receipt, I was stopped by a store employee as I was leaving the premises. The employee demanded to search the bag containing the dress, despite my initial refusal. My daughter was frightened, and I felt embarrassed and humiliated in front of my family and passersby. Disrespectful treatment. The employee's behavior was confrontational and accusatory, making me feel like a ********. On July 6, 2025, I visited the Mr. Price store in Fourways with my wife and 2-year-old daughter to purchase a dress for my daughter. I'm on vacation in Lonehill. This morning at 09h45 only one cashier was working the till, we waited for 30 minutes before 3 more cashiers came to help, we were e customers in the queue. One of my items were not priced correctly, they called a supervisor I assume yo overwrite the R20 discount. She greeted me in an African language I don't even understand. Please employ white, colored and Indians at your shop to service the customers properly. You don't only have African customers.

Visited the mall on 5 Dec 2024 at 09:25am. Was a quick rush in and out. When exiting, the ticket machine did not request any payment on my parking card, this was normal because I was really quick. I then proceeded to the lifts to exit the mall. I then got stuck in the lift, as the doors refused to open. I stood there, ringing the bell for help for ages, but NOBODY ANSWERED or came to my aid! Thank God that i had my cell on me, as I was able to google and call the mall number. I was answered by a very unbothered lady, who said that she would call somebody. My luck, the doors eventually opened and I was able to exit via the stairs! Still, nobody had come to help yet. The mall receptionist then called me back, and I told her that nobody helped, and that I was out. She then gave me a vey quick nonchalant, "oh you're out, ok bye." and dropped the call!! No care whatsoever for the trauma that I had just endured! I then proceeded to my car, had to use my asthma pump because i was in a tizz! and drove off. At the boom gate, the ticket suddenly requested a payment! I pressed the call button, proceeded to tell the lady who had answered, what just happened, and she answered me with a very unbothered, "well I don't know that", and then proceeded to waste my time with torment and stalling before eventually letting me out. I want to say that your service and your staff are disgusting, and I will never return to this mall! Its trash! You can thank your lucky stars that I got out of that lift before my tight chest had turned into a full on asthma attack!
