CEO Clinton Halse threatens client
CEO Clinton Halse also doesn't provide good service to clients. Now I understand why the workers are permanently under thr influence of alcohol. They have to work 16 hours a day. Not sure who was responsible for the electrical work at 178 Albert street. Nearly shocked myself to death touching an appliance just to find out touching any metal part of appliances shocks you. It took a month to fix the gate motor. Surely buying a new motor was going to be less of a hassle. I don't believe a gate being left open over night is safe and chances of cars being broken in to and stolen is so much higher. Now apparently I am the only one who complained about the gate, clearly the tenant in the unit next to me did not provide him with his opipion on the gate. For this reason I found another unit, CEO Clinton Halse threatened that he wil phone my employers to inform them of my alleged drug abuse. Defamation of charecter I tell you. Any excuse not to pay me back my deposit. Due to my line of work the safety of my laptop is of utmost importance. They do not deliver the service being adverised, be aware. I am going viral with the way CEO better known as **** Executive Officer Clinton Halse conducts business. I am taking legal action, logging a complaint with the NCC and the Rental Tribunal. Disgusting way of treating guests. I even got locked out one night after they got a chain and lock for the gate when I complained. The guy who is always drunk looked at me and walked away without unlocking the gate. The laundry service they suggested as they get special pricing left some womens training pants beween my cloths and as a result my girlfriend got upset thinking I had another girl over. Rubish are being dumped under the trees at the back. My suggestion is rather support other business's in the area that treats clients with respect.

Nothing short of disgusted
I won a court case against these guys. I’m waiting for the inventory list from the Sheriff so they can auction their assets so I get my monies back. The broke owner claims he’s worth millions but can’t afford to refund R20,000.00, something doesn’t add up here. Very aggressive and entitled behavior. The owner makes you feel very unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here. The experience has been nothing short of disgusting. I have records for anyone who would like them. I’m considering opening up a criminal case for fraud as well. Run away

Cricklewood Manor Hotel A Disgrace!
Having stayed here 2 years ago, we decided to stay here again. What a mistake. The bedroom and bathroom was infested with ****roaches. The linen and towels were stained. The floors had not been cleaned properly and the kitchen/dining room is a filthy disgrace! The advertising on the website is false as this is not a 5 star hotel, nor does it offer a gourmet breakfast. We decided to leave a day earlier and was brushed off by Monique who was not interested in considering a refund for one night, after we endured 5 nights. This place would not pass a Health and Safety inspection and should be shut down until it can clean its act up. If you are considering staying here, think again or be prepared to bring your own linen, food, bug spray and ask the owners to pay you for your stay!

Cricklewood Manor is a sham
I totally agree with the following review. I have photos to prove everything. I am shocked the Bookings. com supports this place. Absolute below standard, building needs heavy maintenance, plumbing problems as the drain in our bathroom was blocked. The curtains were out of the rails. This place is an health hazzard, no minibar, no bathrobe, no slippers, unclean linen, crawling insects on the dirty floors. we checked in late and we checked out the following morning. the institution refused to give our money back for the remainder of our booking. stay away - false advertising they should be reported for a health inspection

Dear Si/Madam Hope we can be helped her We booked in Cricklewood Manor Hotel wich is in Pretoria in Waterkloof. We checked the place on internet and it was beautiful and we call the they said its okay we can book they have space available then the agreement was to pay on Saturday wen we arrive bt later they called and say they running out of space so if we wanna secureour bookings we must pay and we did. On Saterday wen we arrive the place was not the one same the smell everything was just not a 5star so we didn't check in and we requested refund so that we can be able to book another place the Manager refuse and we try to call the police still he told them we wont get aything back so pleasw help me how can we aolve this issue.

Begging for a receipt...
The staff were very helpful and welcoming when I stayed at the hotel... But... Later on I needed a receipt for a work claim and the office could not send me anything. I phoned several times and was told it would be sent or that it was sent, but nothing was received. Can this really be 5*??!!

The staff were very helpful and welcoming when I stayed at the hotel... But... Later on I needed a receipt for a work claim and the office could not send me anything. I phoned several times and was told it would be sent or that it was sent, but nothing was received. Can this really be 5*??!!

Clinton Halse the CEO of Cricklewood Manor Hotel (Guest House) in Waterkloof Pretoria offers contracts to work there and then refuses to pay (withholds salary of workers) and makes them work 16 hours a day!<br> <br> Be careful if you are every offered a contract as this person is out to put himself and his business ahead at the cost of others!<br> <br> He has been reported to Department of Labour ...
