I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an incident that occurred at your car wash facility located at Caltex Hamburg Roodepoort On my visit, I paid for my vehicle to be washed. The individuals operating the car wash were dressed in Caltex-branded uniforms, which gave the clear impression that they are employees or representatives of your company. However, I later came to understand that they are not directly employed by Caltex. During the service, one of my car carpets went missing. When I approached one of the attendants to address the issue, I was met with extremely unprofessional behavior. Instead of assisting me in resolving the matter, the attendant became rude, loud, and confrontational. The situation escalated to the point where she began pointing at me in an aggressive manner, which I found intimidating and inappropriate. I find this conduct unacceptable, particularly because the individuals are dressed in Caltex uniforms and therefore represent your brand to the public. As a customer, I believe it is reasonable to expect respectful treatment and accountability, regardless of whether the car wash staff are directly employed by your company or not. I would appreciate it if this matter could be investigated thoroughly and addressed appropriately. It is important that customers are treated with respect and that proper measures are put in place to prevent similar incidents in the future. I trust that you will take this complaint seriously and ensure that corrective action is taken.

Caltex Sharon Park ****ed me and they are refusing to take accountability. I ended up paying double of what I usually pay all in the name of petrol went up. I tried to reason with them but they told me that owner is overseas, and there's nothing they can do for me.

This review is for Caltex Marine Drive Paarden Eiland. The service is Always fantastic. The staff has great attitudes and customer service. .big shout out to Ronard Banda for his happy energy, phenomenal service and over great experience Also thank you to Shepard Munatsi for great service as well. They are amazing and I stop here due to your staff

Petrol Attendant Sinothemba from weltevreden is the worst, he told us to shift as the was another car in front of us, we shifted after assisting that car it was our turn to be assisted, while we were moving the car another car came into our space instead of him telling the other car to shift like he told us before, he just left that fuel bay and went on to assist other customers saying he won’t interfere . We had to queue all over again

I used to love Crispy Chicken because it focused on thighs, drumsticks, and a generous portion of chips. In fact, I even preferred it to KFC. Unfortunately, things have changed. Crispy Chicken has started adding a variety of chicken portions that are dry, overly salty, and far from enjoyable. To make matters worse, the once-generous chip portions have now been cut down to a disappointing size. You are losing customers and wasting dry chicken portions that we do not want! Bring back thighs and drumsticks and increase the chip sizes. I do not even mind a price increase, but please do not change a system that was working perfectly for us, your loyal customers. The head office is clearly to blame, as this problem is happening at all Astron Fresh Stop stores. We do not like the new Crispy Chicken pieces — and you have certainly lost a customer.

I AM BEYOND DISGUSTED WITH THIS PETROL STATION!!! I PAID R150 FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I DONT KNOW WHAT WAS INJECTED INTO MY TANK!!! Air or water???? Date of Incident: 22 July 2025 Date of Update: 3 September 2025 On 22 July 2025, I visited Caltex Factoria. Instead of petrol, the attendant, Kwanele, pumped air into my tank. When I asked for the manager’s contact details, Kwanele hid inside rather than assist, and all publicly listed contact numbers for Caltex Factoria were not functional. Caltex later sent CCTV footage, but it had no timestamps, didn’t show me entering the store, and only offered a limited angle, giving the false impression that my car left the premises. They asked me to remove my review, which I refused. I have repeatedly requested full, unedited footage from all angles, with proper timestamps, including footage showing me entering the store. These requests remain unanswered. Despite this, Caltex claims the matter is “concluded,” even though my concerns remain unresolved. This handling demonstrates a clear lack of transparency and accountability. I share this to inform other consumers of my experience with Caltex Factoria. Due to this incident and the way it has been handled, I will not be filling up at any Caltex Petrol Station again.
