A new day but more of the same internet struggles. We have now been without wifi for the past half an hour or more. No explanation, no warning just a loss of connectivity. At this point I have ne more words of disappointment to express. The situation is dire. We are missing online classes and we can't do anything related to the internet. In fact I don't know what we're paying for, because we're definitely not receiving the service we're supposedly buying.

In fact I don't know what we're paying for, because we're definitely not receiving the service we're supposedly buying.

We have been Bluedog clients for a very long time now. Last year we upgraded our line with them because we anticipated greater use this year. Both myself and my daughter are online students, therefore a reliable internet connection is VITAL to our day to day life. I need to mention that prior to this year we never had real issues with Bluedog. But for the past month or so it has been absolute hell. We're without internet randomly and consistently during the day. We can't attend live classes at times, even if there's only one device connected to the wifi. The connection is unstable and we have had to resort to buying data just to attend meetings. My daughter has been flagged as a regular absentee from classes due to internet problems. I have had issues with assignment submissions. The issues we're having are countless but the impact on our academic lives is undoubtedly the worst. We have, ofcourse, communicated all these instances to Bluedog. We even spoke to the owner directly about the situation. I'm sure they dread getting calls and messages from us at this point because we NEED to contact them every single day. I guess the most disheartening part of all of this is that Bluedog does not seem to have a solution. One of their representatives went as far as implying that we should just go ahead and find another provider. Which wouldn't have been such a drag if we weren't in the middle of exam season! The team has been at our house a few times to change hardware, move/ change the antenna, etc and we're still left without a resolution. The neighbours to the back of us also use Bluedog and according to them they have zero problems. Their wifi is working perfectly. Which baffles me since they're just a few meters from us. Every month we pay our installment faithfully, they never have issues when it comes to their money. It's nauseating to me that we're paying for a service that we're not receiving. I find that unacceptable!

Dear Bluedog, since switching over to automated call logging I can wait for a response until I am a skeleton...employ more people so at least we can get a response. You use to be great! My internet here on Golden Mile, St Helena Bay is like a car racing from robot to robot...either fast or non-existent! This started over the last week, especially. My neighbor just installed fiber, ISP Web Africa and they do not have any problems!! I cannot trade like this. Please can I get a response. Kind regards Ingrid David

Bad service! Cannot keep clients connected. Battery back up during load-shedding doesn’t last an hour & half. At night when connection goes down nothing is restored until following day. Wireless service off two nights in a row. Quick to demand payment but really slow to get service back on.

Been a customer for more than 5 years. Used to provide a decent service. Current service is extremely poor. Continuous dropping of internet service up to 4 or 5 hours per day. Towers always down during loadshedding and then the service is not restored after loadshedding. Tryed to blame me for errors even though I don't get loadshedding. Technical support is beyond usless. Same excuses every time. Or don't bother to reply at all. They provide a poor service but happily take their full monthly payment on time every month. I should delay payment and tell them it's a technical error caused by loadshedding.

Bluedog was great in the beginning. We recently cancelled our service with them and their service is now non existent. They need to release our line so we can activate with a new provider but after 25 days nothing has happened. Very disappointing!
