Ace Auto Scrapyard C C
Based on recent customer reviews, Ace Auto Scrapyard C C is drawing significant criticism around its online ordering and parts fulfilment process. Customers consistently mention receiving incorrect parts, shifting prices after payment, and stock availability issues only surfacing after orders are placed. A recurring theme is poor communication, with shoppers describing unanswered calls, ignored WhatsApp queries, and difficulty securing promised refunds. While a smaller group highlights pleasant surprises such as accurate deliveries and proactive callbacks, the dominant sentiment reflects frustration with accountability, professionalism, and after-sales support across multiple branches.

In my online buying experience it is the worst I have ever seen. I made the purchase on the 27th of April 2026 and I called them 3 times to follow up but I am still awaiting. I have ordered the parts from a local supplier and got it in two days.

I had a very frustrating experience with Ace Auto Cape Town, Brackenfell. On 13 April 2026, I ordered an oil cooler for a Mercedes-Benz A180 based on their website price of R680. I was told the part would be ordered and I would be called when it arrived. I never received a call and had to follow up myself. When I went to collect on 14 April, I was given the wrong part. I was then told the correct part costs more (R1035), which I paid because my car is already stripped and I urgently needed it. Shockingly, the second part was ALSO wrong – even after I physically brought the original part to them to ensure accuracy. Communication has been extremely poor: No callbacks as promised Constant follow-ups required from my side Delays with no accountability Now I’m being told the correct part is actually R1500, which is yet another price increase from the original R680. This is completely unacceptable: Wrong parts supp**** multiple times Misleading and changing prices No accountability Poor customer service My car has been stuck for days because of this. I would not recommend this business based on my experience.

On 20 January I requested a quote for a Fender. Funeka responded via email that I should place an order online as they dont have parts in Cape Town and only in Springs. I placed the order 116420 and had to pay R550 courier fee. Today when I called online to query on the part delivery I was informed that the Cape Town warehouse did have stock and is out for delivery with the driver. The issue that I have with this is I am from Paarl and could have collected the part from the Cape Town branch if I was informed correctly instead of having to pay the R550 courier fee.

#108652 I ordered a front bumper and a fender liner for a 2006 Honda Civic from Ace Auto S****yard's website. What should have been a standard transaction turned into a month-long nightmare of frustrating excuses and broken promises. False Tracking: The website indicated the order was "dispatched" for weeks, but nothing was happening. Zero Communication: Calling their main office was useless; staff repeatedly claimed the person in charge of online orders was "not around." The Runaround: It took posting a negative review on their google map location just to get a call back from a staff member named Dewran. He apologized and promised delivery that week. The delivery was delayed multiple times. I was first told the bumper was shipped alone, then I was told they held the delivery to send the bumper and liner together. When the bumper finally arrived (on a Friday morning, weeks late), it was delivered not by a professional courier, but by a local tire repair guy in my town. The fender liner was missing. I eventually found the fender liner was actually packaged inside the bumper. Due to the extreme delay (over a month), I no longer needed it and decided to keep the bumper but get a refund for the liner. Dewran agreed and said a courier would collect the liner. Since that day, they have completely stonewalled me. My address was supposedly incorrect, so Duwran asked me to message him on WhatsApp- he never rep****. Worst of all, they have blocked my number from their main office line, making it impossible to follow up on the promised refund. In summary: Ace Auto S****yard has proven to be unprofessional, dishonest about shipping times, negligent in customer service, and will deliberately block customers to avoid issuing agreed-upon refunds. Avoid this company at all costs.
