I'm insured with them.My mini bus was in an incident and my broker put on a claim on the 3rd March but till now I'm still waiting for them to fix my car.Im losing income as it is but I don't think they care.Paying R6000 monthly

I am very unhappy with the service I received. I asked Nelia to cancel my VUM policy, but up until today I have not received any confirmation that the policy has been cancelled. I have also tried contacting her for the past two days by email and other means, but I received no response. Yesterday the debit order still went off my bank account, and because of this I now have to pay unnecessary bank charges. This could have been avoided if the cancellation request was handled properly and confirmed. I took out the policy through Nelia, with VUM as the underwriters, and expected proper communication and service. Unfortunately, I received no feedback, no update, and no assistance. I would appreciate urgent confirmation that my policy has been cancelled and an explanation for the lack of communication. The broker is from innovation wealth

VUM insurance is the best. My driver had an accident on the 6th of Jan in the middle of the night. I called Vum & they sent 1st help immediately to go and assist my driver. They towed the car and Vum has been communicating with me regarding all the steps since my car is a write off. On the 4th of Feb I signed the final documents & I’m now waiting for them to pay a settlement amount to my bank.

Very bad services. They are not reachable, no one answes your call I have been trying to call for the past three days to log a claim but no one answers the phone, no one replies to emails but I've been debited every single month. I called the emergency services because i was out of options, when they asked for my policy number they couldn't find it. How you dealing with ehailing and the lives of people but you are unreachable. This a very, very bad insurance company. I was sold i lie and now my so called broker is not even reachable. Please do better.

Worst insurer ever - Vum does not take our business serious - vehicle at panel shop since 8th December 2025 to date , the panel beater is waiting for parts . Not sure if we are dealing with an insurance company or s**** yard , worst service while we lose income.

VUM Insurance declined my claim for daily expenses, which is part of my cover on my taxi comprehensive policy. My taxi is covered by VUM as my insurer and Standard Bank as the broker. On the 7th of October, my taxi was involved in an accident, and it took VUM more than 20 days to authorize a cash offer. When I submitted the second part of the claim, the daily expenses they refused to pay it, claiming that my monthly premiums were 3 days later. For the 20 days that I lost income while I was waiting for VUM to authorize the repairs, they offered the cash offer without any transparency on how they arrived at the figure or if it was economical to repair the taxi or not. The assessor's report was kept secret until now. I had so much faith in VUM, and I'm left disappointed. JP Mndawe
