I ordered something from Makro Online Business for my company on the 2nd of March 2026...their online site says 2-day Delivery...it is now Friday the 6th Of March 2026...I have called countless times ...I keep getting told there are delays...and the delivery is on it's way...for 2 days now it's been in transit or on it's way...I was promised yesterday by the lady I spoke to at Value Express that I would get my delivery yesterday afternoon before end of day...Surprise...Surprise...I did not get my delivery...and when I called this morning about it...all they say is ...the driver was delayed....I am located in Benrose...the store I ordered from is in Alberton...how can it be delayed so long...it has been showing out for delivery for almost 3 hours now...this is absolutely ridiculous!!! What customer service is this?

Now this is the worst courier company ever, they are so rude with bad customer service. They will lie to you about picking up your parcel until you complain and will still give you attitude.

I am a seller on Makro, and dealing with Value Express Korea has been one of the most frustrating business experiences of my life. I had a shipment booked for collection on 4 February. Today is 13 February and the parcel is STILL sitting with me. Since the booking date, I have: • Called repeatedly • Followed up every second day • Been given the same scripted excuses over and over Each time I’m told: • “We are experiencing a backlog” • “Operations has escalated this” • “It will be collected today” And every single time — nothing happens. No pickup. No proactive communication. No accountability. As a business owner, this is unacceptable. My customers are delayed, my reputation is affected, and I’m the one left looking unprofessional — all because Value Express cannot do the one job a courier exists to do: collect parcels. What makes this worse is that other couriers perform significantly better. Even alternative services I’ve used manage next-day collections without drama. With Value Express, it’s just empty promises and endless call-centre apologies. I genuinely do not understand why Makro partners with this courier, because the service level reflects extremely poorly on sellers who are forced to rely on them. If you value your business, your time, or your sanity — avoid Value Express at all costs.

On multiple occasions, parcels for the Makro seller in Meyerton have not been collected as agreed. This matter has been discussed directly with the branch manager, however the poor service continues. Staff consistently apologise, but the same failures are repeated. Pickups are missed, commitments are not honoured, and no reasonable or reliable collection arrangement is maintained. The ongoing lack of accountability and follow-through is unacceptable and is negatively affecting our operations. Apologies without corrective action are no longer sufficient. This issue requires urgent intervention from top management to ensure that agreed pickup schedules are honoured and that service standards are enforced. I have ordered an item from Makro and been waiting on my order to be delivered since the 31st of December 2025. It is now 8 January 2026, I have phoned to Makro to enquire and they have tried to contact Value Express but nothing has been communicated. I have contacted Value Express myself and I was put through to different branches with no answer still. Honestly this is the worst expereince I've ever had with any courier company. Your agent Rosy sounded irritated with me because I am enquiring about this situation. I feel very frustrated with your services. Terrible is not even the word to describe yoru service.

If I could rate this useless company 0 stars, I would. It has taken over a week for my parcel to arrive and to this day I am yet to receive it. The tracking says it has been out for delivery since Wednesday. Between Makro and value, I don’t know who is more ***********. It’s pretty much theft at this point

This courier company only has one agent to answer their calls, he lies and then forgets what he said when you follow up again. My order has been with them since 20 December and is yet to be delivered. Absolutely no value in the so called express business
