I would like to lodge a complaint regarding the handling of a deceased estate matter by Ultra Liquors (Voortrekker branch). The licence holder passed away last month, and the estate is currently in the process of being formally reported. An executor has been nominated, although formal appointment is still pending. As part of the estate intake process, I requested a statement of account from the Voortrekker branch, which I am still yet to receive. However, what is more concerning is how the matter has been handled. The store manager (Yvonne) engaged directly with individuals claiming authority over the estate without requesting formal documentation or verification. This contributed to a confrontation at a private residence involving family members during an already sensitive time. Following this, stock was collected from the premises by the deceased’s children while the estate process is still underway and before any formal authority has been confirmed. I escalated the matter to the regional manager (Etienne), who advised that he would respond by the following afternoon. No response was received within the indicated timeframe, and no further communication has been provided. While I understand that not all individuals involved are legally trained, this is precisely why clear internal processes should be followed when dealing with matters of this nature. At the very least, basic verification should take place before engaging with third parties in a deceased estate. This situation may appear minor on the surface, but it has resulted in unnecessary confusion and distress. I believe this matter could have been handled better.

There are very very bery bad in delivery. I just had my first attemp online purchase and i have seen there are the worst. time slot is over yet nothing. this is the cresta branch. The prices are good to be fare but i will advise you go there and buy. The worst of it is there dont pickup calls.

Good evening my name is Lorraine mataboge from Rustenburg, it was on the 31st of January 2026 when I went to Ultra liquor Rustenburg platinum square we got inside the shop with my brother and bought a bottle of Hennessy Vsop I paid for it and bought a gift bag to put a bottle then the bottle broke ,the lady at the teller gave us attitude and told us thats none of her business, she went to tell the Manager and the guy came gave us attitude and told me it was my negligence it has nothing to do with him ,they cald the lady a supervisor then she said im waisting my time I won't get a refund or another bottle, they were making noise to us infront of the customers and even laughing we went out of the shop with nothing ,spent the whole R950,00 for that bottle ,im so s hurt and dissapointed especially by the management said he dont care even if we stop buying from their shop ,supervisor said she dont care even if we regular customers, im hurt,dissapointed please help me my number is 0766859871

Good morning. I went to one of your stores in Boksburg on the 4th January 2026 to buy whiskey which was not on the shelves and l went to the counter for assistance. When I found one customer being helped by two ladies l stood there for half an hour before I asked if I was going to be helped. I asked them if it was possible to help one customer while others waited that's when one of the ladies without name tag helped me with a very horrible attitude. I still believe these ppl never went to customer training they rude and their attitude is disgusting when you ask for assistance it's as if they doing us a favour. Thanks

Orange Farm Ultra Liquor ****med us, on the 16th of December they sold us a **** REMY MARTIN VSOP, it was on special and came with a Appletiser mix, the following day when we drank it withouth the mix we realized that the bottle did not taste anything like Remy Martin. I lodged the complain on the 17th evening by sending my complaint to their complaints email found on Google but to date I have not heard any response from them. On the 18th I went to their shop, the manager took the bottle and promised that they will send it for testing, but they later called and told them that because the bottle was dranked they will not continue with the testing. I am very dissatisfied with ultra liquor Orange Farm

On the 16th of December 2025 I bought a bottle of Remy Martin at Orange Farm Ultra Liquor store. The contents of the bottle does not taste anything like Remy Martin. It has a sharp taste of spirit and it does not have Remy Mrtin's aroma. I have also attached the slip as proof of purchase. We returned the bottle and they said this will send it for testing but they later said they will not test it because it was ranked. They are intentionally poising us and are refusing to take accountability.

#BlackFriday Order Number: 19752 The service at their Wynberg branch is completely bad and the manager is a ****, inconsistent and inconsiderate. The staff member that helped me said the manager removed two cases of Black Label beer because it reached the maximum limit. I asked why did he remove the two cases of Black Label and not the Corona or why did he not confirm with me first and there was no response and I told them I had bought more than that quantity in other Ultra Liquors with no issues.
