Yesterday, on the 26th of March, 2026, at around 15h30, I stopped at the Total Petrol Station in Johannesburg, Simmonds Street, and filled 42 liters of diesel. As I was busy talking to the petrol attendants, I didn't notice that they charged me 1,187 Rands. Only when I went home, I realized that they overcharged me. So the next day I went past and asked the manager why they're charging me so much, because it was around 28.50 for a liter of diesel when it was displayed at 22.50. Then he explained to me that yesterday it was 28.50, but today they dropped it down to 22.50. So I think this daylight *******, as the petrol price hasn't gone up, it only goes up on the first day of the month, on a Wednesday. And they're just putting up and down the price the way they like it. One thing is for sure, I'll never use Total Petrol Station ever again.
