I’m saddened to write this review because my family and I have been loyal customers of this restaurant for over a decade, and it truly felt like a second home. Unfortunately, a negative experience today changed that. We were unhappy with a waiter’s behavior and brought our concerns to the manager, Zander, but he was dismissive, defensive, unwilling to listen, and not even willing to mediate the situation. As a manager, showing no consideration for customer concerns—whether right or wrong—is unacceptable. It’s heartbreaking that such poor handling has damaged our long-standing relationship with what was once our favorite restaurant. I hope accountability is taken.

I visited Tony’s on Friday evening to buy a take away meal. The service I received when I walked in, by a young white male, was great and although the kitchen was very busy, I received my order on time as informed. When I arrived home, I found a slight problem with the order. I called and explained to the manager (Cleo) and she apologised profusely. She arranged to have my order redone and sent to my address. Excellent service. Thank you Cleo.

I would like to share my experience regarding an unsatisfactory experience at Tony’s Spaghetti Grill. Approximately a month ago, I placed a takeaway order for two pizzas. Upon collection, my husband was informed that the order was incorrect and was required to wait an additional 40 minutes. Unfortunately, even after the delay, the pizzas received were still not in the correct sizes as ordered. Upon returning home, we found that the salami pizza tasted off. Only one piece was partially consumed, after which I returned the pizza the following day. During my interaction with the manager, I was informed that the matter would need to be investigated, including checking expiry dates and potentially sending the pizza for testing. While I understand the need for due process, I felt that my concern was not taken seriously. It has now been over a month, and I have not received any feedback or follow-up regarding this matter. Additionally, I found the manager’s conduct to be unprofessional, as there was a noticeable smell of alcohol during our interaction. Based on this experience, and previous instances of slow service, I am disappointed in the overall level of customer care. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Visited Tony’s on a lovely November evening. The food was delectable and the wait service was fantastic. However, one of the managers (I assume) Josh, had a massive blowout with the kitchen staff in front of the entire restaurant. The dispute was over a delayed food order for another customer. Josh was verbally abusive towards the kitchen staff; swearing, telling them they need to leave, calling them ***********, and threatening physical violence towards them. It could have been handled way way way more calmly and professionally. It got to the point that one of the wait staff tried to intervene and diffuse the situation. This was to no avail. Josh continued to shout across the restaurant and disturb dinner service with his incredibly aggressive behaviour. The last we saw before leaving the restaurant, Josh was issuing written warnings to the kitchen staff. Josh was very clearly abusing his power as a manager. I am writing this review because it is unfair for him to have conducted himself in that way, escalated a situation that did not need gas on the fire, and then be without consequence when I’m sure the kitchen staff do not have that same level of power to brazenly and brutishly throw about in that way.

I have been visiting several restaurants in the Randpark Ridge area looking to have a good breakfast and for some time now, I have not gone to Tony's for whatever reason. What a mistake, I visited them for breakfast and built my own breakfast choice from the menu options. From my poach eggs arriving to the exact way I like them to the bacon not being chewy leather as seems to the norm in most of the restaurants I visit. But the cherry on top were the chicken livers, I salivate writing this as I think about how tasty they were. The food was not bland it really was tasty. The service was awesome and the atmosphere what you would expect of a slightly more upmarket restaurant. Although my cappuccino was a little cold when it arrived, this could have been easily sorted out if I had brought it to the attention of the server, so that fault lies with me. Well priced for what I ordered and I have again found my favourite breakfast venue in Randpark Ridge. Well done Tony and your team, I will be telling all of my friends about your breakfast menu.

From the poorly printed menus to the unknowledgable waiters to the last weeks pancetta, this restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. The food is mediocre at best and served luke warm. Below average service- rather make toast at home you'll have a better experience. Uterly ghastly Italian unflair at its finest.
