Nock Off Tyres sold to me

Sometime last week I got a R250 ticket for worn out tyres. I was fortunate not to get a bill of R500 to R1000 cause I pleaded my case. However this ****ed me off cause I have a standing case with Tyger Wheel and Tyger Rivonia for selling me poor quality Tyres.

Some context, I went to them in November to buy Tyres, I asked them for budget friendly tires cause at the time I did not have money to spend on Tyres. I even used payjust now to get these tyres. Now I have bought budget friendly tyres from them before and they've gone on to last me for more that 3 to 4 years, traveling long distances in all kinds of Terrain.

However these Tyres were completely finished by January 2026 after having bought them in November 2025. These Tyres did not complete a full 2 months and they were gone. I've bought Tyres many times over the years but never in my life has such ever happened.

The longest distance travelled with these tyres was 382 killometers from Sandton to Nelspruit. During this time I was not carrying any loads or doing anything that would justify this type of Wear and tear. Now granted I had not done wheel alignment as I was going to fix my V-Arm and I explained this to them but by the time I had come back to do the alignment the tires were gone.

I am not an Uber driver or a person who uses the car to make a living nor do I go to the office everyday. So there is absolutely no way this makes sense. It's now May with these tyres and now they are completly gone hence tickets. I used to receive updates about my issue but now things have gone silent. I guess the assumption is that I will let it go. Tyres are too expensive to simply just buy new onces especially in this economy. I am a loyal customber and generally get my Batteries and Tyres from them, they know this cause I am on their system.

I need replacement tyres else if they not going to do that then they must say so, so that I know how to proceed going forward. I have no issues with the sales person who sold me the tyres. He's a great guy and actually helped me with a claim I had with COJ. So great guy but I do have issues with the Tyres I was given, and NO i AM NOT LETTING THIS GO.
