This insurance company takes your money but when you claim they refuse to pay out. They have no valid reasons and say they cover you for loss and damage as well as ****** devices and yet when you claim they deny you.

Thabisile Dimun assured me the next day a response to my insurance claim and yet got nothing till present despite informing the urgency of this claim. IT IS MY JOB ON THE LINE , WHATS THE P0INT IN PAYING THIS INSURANCE FOR BAD FEEDBACK.

im seek and tired of this company i told them to cancel my insurece but they still debit my account now they just debited R115 on my account and the policie its R75 then they teel me cancelllation fee is 75 the so called manager could not even assist me lebogang Ramafoloand her angent Sandra hlongwane i want my money

I am extremely dissatisfied with the shocking lack of professionalism and service I have received from Techsured / Viva Group. This has been, without question, the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered. I submitted all my claim documents on 28.04.2026, yet to date I have not even received the courtesy of an acknowledgement confirming receipt. After being completely ignored, I escalated the matter to the complaints department only to experience the exact same level of incompetence and disregard. A day later, my complaint was simply closed with the generic response that “an agent will contact you.” To this day, no one has contacted me. I then called again today, hoping to finally get assistance, but was met by a completely clueless consultant who informed me that her supervisor, Bandile Mabuza, was “not available.” I was further advised that my email had been assigned to Given Sebesho, who has apparently failed to perform the most basic function of acknowledging a customer’s email or providing any form of update. The complete lack of accountability, communication, urgency, and professionalism from this organisation is unacceptable. It is clear that management has no control over its staff, and the level of service being provided reflects a deeply dysfunctional operation. Jivashan Pather, as the so-called “Key Individual,” should be embarrassed by the conduct and incompetence displayed by his team. At this point, Techsured / Viva Group appears more interested in ignoring customers than actually assisting them. I strongly caution anyone considering taking cover with this company to think very carefully before doing so, because if this is how legitimate claims and complaints are handled, customers can expect frustration, delays, and complete disregard once they need assistance.

Techsured is the worst insurance administrator I've ever came across. Submitted a claim 24.02.2026 and it was declined unfairly a month later 23.03.2026. I escalated the rejection to the underwriter Guardrisk on the 30.03.2026 I only got assisted on the 29.04.2026 by (Lindokhuhle Vundla) who gave me good news stating that they are overturning the rejection an email will be sent to Techsured. I called Techsured they confirmed they received the email from Guardrisk and have escalated the claim to Techsured management to approve the claim on their system till to date my claim is still declined on their system. I don't recommend anyone to insure their cellphone with Gaurdrisk cell phone insurance administrated by Techsured. They are quick to debit, their service is **********, they dont return follow up emails. I don't understand why Gaurdrisk choose Techsured to look after their clients I guess both companies don't care about their clients experience when claiming they just in it for the money and cheating clients off their premiums.

My. First contract it was saying they cover phone for R4000 after I lost phone they send new contract now they want to pay R1100 they saying the supplier doesn’t have stock where can I get phone for that amount it is not even half of money I paid them it took them 2 and half months to finalise claim Techsured it is a really ****mer

Now they are quiet like they have never taken money from my account, the reason given to deny the claim is very questionable as it not even specific in the contract . I will never recommend this company to anyone.

Techsured must rank among the most ineffective cellphone insurance providers I’ve dealt with. I submitted all the relevant documents and information for my claim four days ago, and to date, I have received absolutely no feedback or acknowledgment. This level of service is unacceptable. Please be advised that if this matter is not addressed urgently, I will have no choice but to escalate it to the ombudsman.
