The flavour of the flaming hot Nik Naks used to be so tasty and spicy but now it seems to be watered down. There’s less chilli flavour and more cheesiness and this weird sweetness on the chips. Even the colour you can tell the chips had not been coated with the flavoured spice. I’ve been noticed this more than three times. I’ve reached a point of saying these are not worth it and I’m gonna go with another brand. The taste is different, the size is smaller (the contents of the packet are halfway the packet- Nik Naks used to fill up the packet to the brim) and the price’s gone up.

I bought 2 packets of Simba nuts and raisins and when I opened a packet and put it into a container to eat there were maggots crawling out of it, when I complained about it they gave me the run around saying that there procedures were in place, so maggots coming out if a sealed bag was my fault. I threw it in the bin and even called them and said they can come and pick it up, ut there was nothing from them, personally the raisins were not right as it was all soggy and stuck together. This was a horrible experience

Really disappointed with the quality coming out from Simba products. Bought SALTED peanuts and had almost no salt. I called the customer care line and, after sending pics of the product and packaging, was given an R60 voucher to buy Simba, PepsiCo, Lays, etc. products. I did just that. Went to the shops and bought 4 packets of Fritos chips (2xTomato and 2xBBQ flavours) using the vouchers. All the packets bought lacks flavour so much so that its like eating flavourless corn chips. Dont know what is happening with the standards coming out of the Simba factory really!!

Complained before about hard chips, and peanuts are also hard as rock. I broke some teeth on Simba chips. They don't even bother to enquire about your complaint. Been a Simba chips fan for 50 plus years. Disgusting ripoff!!!!

We own a filling station in Pietermaritzburg, KZN. We haven't seen the representative for 4 weeks now. Simba / PepsiCo is not replying to their emails, nor answering their phones. PATHETIC SERVICE. Never seen such in my life

I sent in a client complaint to Simba on the 4th March 2026 Ref P000012603060086 tell then I bought the string of Nik a Naks and when eating them the 2 out of 5 packets where so hard and that's when I contacted them. They requested screen spot of the back of the packet which I did but it was not clear and checking quiet a few times but could not see a BB date plus they all requested all my personal info which I also supp****. I was told to keep the open and closed packets for then to collect. I then received an email on the 15th March 2026 Ref 2603060086 stating that they have looked into this matter and tested the product and could not find anything worry with the product and that they issued me with a voucher on the 10th March 2026 which I did not received. The problem I have with this is that how can you test a product if you have not collected the items in question. Checking products in the factory do not have the same sell by date all the time and there is no BB date on the packets that I can see. This to me is telling a consumer to take to or leave it which is not fair on myself and other client.
