Konrad van Zyl installed a new inverter and batteries at our home. He initially underspec'd the installation and our system tripped multiple times. He did, however, fix this issue by installing an inverter with greater capacity. Regardless, their level of service and quality of workmanship was disappointing. Another issue is that we requested that they act as agents to sell our two Mercer inverters. To this day we have not seen any money from the sale, nor received the inverters back. Multiple attempts to contact Konrad have yielded nothing - our calls remain unanswered or are put straight through to voicemail.

The worse service you will find with the most arrogant MD
If you want peace in your life stay very far away from this company and Konrad van Zyl. He will promise you the world and the best of the best, only to leave you with an unsafe, incomplete installation. After paying him all his money for months on end he continues to give me a run around. To this day he still hasn’t come back to complete the job almost a year later including: 1. No copper earthing for panels and DB. All 2. No spikes required to be installed in the ground connected to the earthing copper. 3. No Earthing cable for earthing from panels down to the DB. 4. Left me with over 10 dry ******* and unsafe DC cable joints with ferrules and insulation tape instead of solar connectors on the strings from panels to DB. 6. No galvanised Steel conduit full length from the point where solar cables enter the house in the ceiling until it gets into the walls PVC conduits. Basically leaving dry joints in my ceiling waiting just to start a fire. 7. No Surge protection circuit breaker installed on the fuse DB? So unless you want to have stress every night about your house burning down; I suggest you stay very far from Konrad van Zyl, Wizard Green Energy or SIB Warehouse.

Konrad Van Zyl - Solar -STAY AWAY!!!!!
Paid deposit of 70% for 5KVa hybrid system. Was recommended by a builder that this system is the be all and end all. I have tried to contact Konrad Van Zyl,he does not reply on his phone or WhatsApp. One is constantly told lies through a third party.Two weeks has passed and no word from them I just want my deposit back. Do not use this person or company.

Wizard Green Solar, Stay away !
After me paying good money and showing a lot of patients, Wizard Green just abandoned the project and left me with a nonfunctional installation! They could never sort out the Lithium battery - Inverter communication. This caused the output voltage to be unstable. This resulted in lights flickering, garage door malfunctioning, etc. At a late stage, the low voltage inverter was changed to a high voltage type. Instead of re-wiring the solar panels properly, they decided to only connect 8 of the 12 panels. All of this without informing me... The rest of the wiring was done well. For that I generously awarded two stars

Wizard Green Solar, Stay away !

Highly frustrated and disappointed
Its been over a year since the system was installed. It has been one thing after another, with the system not working as promised. You call for service, they make empty promises and don't deliver. Now, half of my house does not have power. This means I don't have hot running water 😫. I have been calling and messaging for a month to have this sorted. I am again fed empty promises. They have proven to be unreliable and untrustworthy. They don't care about customer service. They have done the installation, paid them for it and thats where it ends for them.
