Unresponsive During Return Process
I ordered an item for Mother’s Day which, firstly, I had to follow up on, and secondly, sadly had to log a return for.
I must admit that once I pushed for the delivery, their customer service was good. However, after requesting a return within the allowed timeframe, I eventually received a response asking for additional information for their suppliers. Since then, I have been unable to get hold of them despite sending multiple emails and trying to call.
I would recommend buying products directly from the stores whose products they stock, as having them as an intermediary does not make for a good experience if any issues arise.

We are pleased that you found our customer service helpful once the delivery matter was escalated.In fairness to the process, the item ordered has a longer lead time (as advised on our Shipping Policy https://shopping4africa.com/policies/shipping-policy) . We engaged with the supplier, once were advised of the immenent occasion for which the item was purchased, who expedited production and delivered in time for the occassion.With regard to the return request, the product dimensions and images were available prior to purchase, and the supplier advised that since they manufacture in accordance with customer colour requirements, their products are generally not eligible for return unless defective. We were still actively engaging internally on a possible goodwill solution when this review was posted.We do acknowledge that communication during this process could have been better from our side and appreciate the feedback. We always aim to assist fairly and reasonably while also working within supplier policies and our published terms and conditions.
