On 6 December 2025 my wife and I bought a pair of shoes at midlands mall PMB branch advertised at R599 reduced to R440. When we returned home we found we had been charged R599. On the 9th December we took them back to query and were advised the advertised price was for black Friday only and it is too much effort to rectify the fault. My correspondence to Truworths has not received any response. I have paid up my account and will not use Truworths again.
Bought a new bed from sleep masters hibiscus mall in Margate. Received good service from sales person. Then it went downhill. Got messages saying the bed was in process of being sent. Then I got a message to say it had been delivered. I phoned the number given to try trace my bed. I was told they can't help. Finally managed to get hold of the branch who said the bed has not been sent yet. When it did arrive it was left as is and the delivery staff left. I then found the Serta bed legs were damaged and not fitting correctly. All an all not impressed with the product and the after sales service.
Being resident in Margate,kwa Zulu natal means we have to travel 100kms for a cell c service centre. We recently did an upgrade as well as handed my wife's phone in for repair. We received fantastic service from the branch staff, however when matters were referred to head office all service fell away. My upgrade took them 5 day's to approve causing me to have to travel back to amanzimtoti to collect the new phone. We handed my wife's phone in for repair and 2 months later still no updates despite the attempts by the branch staff to get information. Cell C really needs to sort out this disgusting service from their head office.
Although the general service from cellc is below par and non existent from the admin centre I would like to mention Ghian from Galleria branch in Amanzimtoti who exceeded his service levels in an attempt to solve our long outstanding query. He gives me hope that if more people buy into his level of commitment there may be a future for service levels in Cellc and South Africa
Sent a review regarding quality of food and received ref CAS2271909-Q9T7G-4.since then no contact made, so it proves the lack of respect for the general customer of mugg and bean who cannot bother to respond in a week.
My wife has been trying to get a refund of a double debit made by cell c since Sept 2021. To date after numerous calls, forwarding documentation numerous times and following up weekly we are still no nearer the money due to us. They are common criminals and totally incompetent. They make politicians look above board
Despite me making many a call the 5 minutes advertised to open an account has now taken 5 weeks and also despite sending all required documents my application has expired. Well so has my patience. Have moved my insurance and medical aid to another provider. No concern or attempt to retain my business. Very arrogant attitude from the discovery group.
As my insurance and medical aid is with discovery I thought of moving my bank account to improve points. I am continously being asked for same documents even after they confirm receipt. Waste of time.one week later and no further. Now I have to shop for a new medical aid and insurance provider.
Patel hardware hazyview. You pay for a delivery and when you query non receipt they advise they have no stock and no idea what they are doing about it. They have my money though. Criminal to treat clients like this.
Tanks bush pub is a social centre for residents of and visitors to the hazyview area. The staff are friendly and the food is excellent. Prices are very reasonable and I have never had a negative response from any of the numerous people I have reffered there. Situated about 7 kms from hazyview on the sabie road
