Faithful to Nature
Generally a responsive company with a good range of options. I had trouble with purchasing on 3 occasions due to some unknown issue, but they were able to assist me. I have struggled to find some of the products I have been looking for over the last few months, but for the most part there is a good range and have managed to find quite a few things. I wish the range of tea's and chocolate's would expand, and would love to see 100% cotton socks and stationery. Thanks FTN #BlackFriday some great specials as well.

Niomi stocks lovely bathroom and beauty products made from natural materials. The scrubber and the extended back scrubber were such a find, they work so well, look great and so pleased that they are made from natural, biodegradable materials. I also purchased the loofah and the sponges - the sponges didn't last too long although they were nice and soft. The loofah is a bit tricky to use. Very happy, will definitely be doing a repeat order. #BlackFriday Thank you!

Woodstock Laundry disappointing after sales service
The items looked great online, so decided to support a local company, as we often do, and purchase pajama's. When the items arrived they were a strange fit-tops flare out and shorts are too big and gape (there is no option to order a different size top and bottom.) When wanting to return, we were surprised to see that the company expected us to pay for the courier. After paying this amount, we received notice what we did not qualify for a refund. Looking closely at the refund policy, it became clear that a lot of people obviously try to return or exchange their items as there is a range of "proviso's" whereby to don't qualify for a refund. Never ever had a problem with any other company having items returned or exchanged like this. Most companies want their customers to be happy with their purchase. I definitely don't recommend WL, if you are unhappy with the size or fit you will have to pay to return it and you might not be able to either. Rather shop somewhere that does returns, has better after sales policy, cares about customers and has better fits.

Autocool Aircon Repair
A very dissapointing and expensive experience. After driving quite a way to Autocool to have the aircon on our car repaired, we were charged R450 for a re-gas and almost R4000 for a new compressor. It was a tremendous challenge for us to afford this sum of money, but we assumed (incorrectly) that this would mean a repaired aircon. The owner was touchy and defensive and it was less than ideal but we went ahead. Upon collecting the car everything appeared to be working, however the very next day it was not working again. Thinking there was perhaps a loose wire, we popped into a much closer aircon place to have it to checked, only to be informed that there was no gas in the system, the "new" part was leaking oil, a filter needed replacing (which was not done) and there was indeed a wire that was unplugged. It cost additional money to have this addressed. When contacting the owner to ask for a refund for the gassing that was clearly not done, he became defensive, refused the refund and then blamed us for not bringing the car back. He seemed unable to comprehend that a client expects a job to be done for such an enormous sum of money, one does not expect unplugged parts and leaks. The other company seemed to be much more honest and moving forward we will rather go with them. I do not recommend making use of Autocool, you do not have a guarantee that your car's issue will be repaired.

A lovely company with a very responsive and helpful owner and designer, manufacturing great ladies staples in bamboo material. Always enjoy supporting a local business and it's great when the business uses natural materials and processes! The owner Melanie is great, if you have questions about the online store, sizing etc. she personally responds. Stunning bamboo skirts and cute tops as well. Great colours like black, teal and natural greens, and tie-dye which is lovely. Great for daily wear, workout gear and loungewear. I will definitely keep an eye on the website and their products!

Eden & Co
Ordered some lovely slip-on sandals after looking for ages for shoes that are made completely with leather and natural materials and no pva or plastic layers and coating (which are really bad for skin and result in skin allergies, plus it means the shoes are a disposal hazard). These sandals feel like they have more layers than I expected, but they are classic and go with everything. Easy to wear and surprisingly comfortable. Leather straps and soles which is absolutely perfect and feels so much better on the skin. I did not expect to be able to wear them straight away after past experiences of having to wear shoes in...they are absolutely great. Next time I need shoes, I will be definitely be visiting the Eden & Co website and looking there first! Definitely recommended. #BlackFriday #BLACKFRIDAY

A lovely, local South African store selling stunning cotton and linen pieces. I am always on the look out for products made with natural materials and was pleased to find this store! One does need to contact them and inquire about material composition for garments as it is not always clear on the website (hopefully they will change that), but there are definitely quality pieces. Will be keeping an eye on the site and keen to buy more items! #BlackFriday #BLACK FRIDAY

Absolutely love this store. Lots of great basics, the bags and backpacks are great designs as well, also love the shampoo and conditioner products, and a super relaxed, calm store which makes for a pleasant shopping experience. This is definitely one of my favourite stores and really pleased that we have this concept in South Africa. I hope they will expand their range of basics and add payment plan options to their online purchasing options in future. I also hope they will open once or twice a month on Saturdays. Super impressed with this local brand that makes the most gorgeous cotton and linen pieces. I am always on the lookout for natural materials and so excited to find such stunning quality! I purchased a cotton and linen item, and I definitely plan to purchase more! I hope they introduce payment plan options as part of their purchasing options, that would be such a help.
