What to get fleeced of your deposit? Renting at The Square in Cape Town will lead to you loosing your deposit, mostly facilitated by unscrupulous and so called rental agents. There are a number of them that operate in the building and pretend to be honest while always advising the landlord to simply pocket the deposit and they find any excuse not to have the deposit repayed. They are fundamentally thieves probably also making a fast buck off the deal. Long and short, no matter how well you look after the unit, you can be guaranteed to loose your deposit.
The tent covering is ripped, the tent poles are broken and the two camp chairs are broken. Products are not even 6 weeks old and subject to normal Cape conditions. Don’t waste a cent of money buying anything branded Camp Master - it won’t even last a week before it breaks.
My sons friend left his cell phone (new Apple) in the car tonight. When I called the driver (Tapiwa) he claimed he had found it yet no call received to offer it back. After several arguments and Tapiwa not able to speak much English and actually making reference to a trip destination no where near we he dropped the passengers took the phone back. For that service I was charged. That is the end of all and any trips that I would ever utilise them for. What a bunch of useless and inept drivers and for that matter a useless site ( can’t even lay a complaint). Wake up and smell the coffee, no wonder your drivers go on strike and as for Bolt SA, you advocate this kind of behaviour. The ‘bribe’ cost almost double the trip cost. Bolts lack of service, coupled with Uber and Didi are so poor and quite honestly in-spite being disabled, I would rather crawl than use their services again.
They claim to be an online store. Everything has to be ordered from China which you wait for. They then decide where in your city to deliver to but it’s not an address they ask for in their delivery form. So why bother even asking. When following up, they do as little work as possible expecting the purchaser to do all the work and follow ups. They don’t provide the right codes and information making eventual collection impossible. My advise is do not purchase anything over the internet other than from Takealot which we all know is SA and deliver. Don’t wast time and energy on fraudsters and scam artists even when they seem cheap. Most online companies have no intention of ever delivering and are simply out to steal money and make a fast buck. Most of them are not even South African.Anybody can buy a co.za address on the internet.
Had the worst experience in CT today at PEP. Went to collect a Paxi parcel only to be given every excuse why they (the staff of PEP) couldn’t help me and that I must go away and find the information they want, then they might try and help. It seems like the staff can’t use a computer, have no brains at all about customer service, and honestly couldn’t be bothered. They collect their salaries every month so why bother with helping customers. Will never set foot in a PEP again, won’t advocate their use nor support their staff or company. What a sad and pathetic bunch of losers in a poorly run company with no standards or CRM skills.
I have never received such pathetic and dismal service from a company like Woolworths. They are quick to take your money but cant even effect a simple refund when they cant deliver. They have every excuse in the book. They claim to call, but amazingly the phone never rings. The service center is rude and unhelpful. I have been a customer of Woolies and Woolies Food for years, after this experience I will never use them nor set foot in one of their stores, I sincerely hope you feel the same way and take the necessary steps to boycott Woolies. Its time we boycotted business that cant perform in South Africa, Woolies is one of them.
It seems that anything electronic bought from Takelot has a very limited shelf life of a few months only before it breaks and is no longer useable. Just about every electronic item I have bought from headsets to Apple ****les last until just outside the return period and then that’s it. Don’t buy any electronics from them unless it’s a brand name and backed by a full manufacturers guarantee/warranty and even then you are going to be given the run around. There isn’t even a portal to lay a complaint.
Gumtree is filled with fraudsters looking to take goods without ever paying for them. The only responses received to the sale of an item has been scam artists for the last couple of months. Not one single offer for a genuine sale has been received. The scam artists use tactics like pay pal and proof of payments which when queried the bank accounts don’t exist. Sadly even cash needs to be checked for fakes. These scammers don’t know any bounds and will try anything to part you from your goods without payment. Gumtree allows this to freely happen and have become a website for scammers to thrive on. The offer no protection nor do they even bother to check out buyers. Some of us are trying to sell something legitimately but get hit constantly by these scammers and need to keep up our guard. Selling anything has become a difficult task and quite honestly not even worth pursuing through the likes of Gumtree.
I left Facebook months ago thanks to their privacy policy. I however need to go back on this week for something on market place. Now I now why I also left Facebook…….what a pathetic institution. They are absolutely painful, thank goodness I have deleted them again. I vow never to go near Facebook ever again. Rather not have than use their service again.
All the above banks deserve to lose their licences and be shut down. Why: they demand their money like little school children on a certain date, if non compliant they threaten, black list and employ courts to attempt to get their money. Their fees are excessive for the total lack of service. Their investments provide little or no returns. They leave clients with no financing, cannot obtain bonds and there is little progression of the individuals/corporations that use their services. In a modern day world with robotics, AI and technology, a simple transaction shouldn’t take more than a minute or two, yet the public has to wait some 48 hours for a transaction to be effected. Think logically, these institutions have long since passed their sell by date. Globally advancements are achieved, yet we stay stuck in the dark ages and the population forced to accept their demands. They should be boycotted and the same tactics employed upon them or they must close or find another mass to take for a ride.
