On Friday, 7 June 2024, I reserved a trip with Uber Rides, Johannesburg. y account was debited almost 3 times the advertised amount but no driver arrived and no transaction confirmation provided which forced me to find an alternative. On querying the transaction with Uber through their portal, they have adamantly stuck to THEIR facts that the deduction was for a trip undertaken in October 2018....6 years ago. Neither the card that I used on the 7th June nor my mobile number was in place in 2018. Uber refuses to accept the fact that the 2018 transaction was paid in 2018 as all their responses repeat the sae claim without any substantiation. I have lodged a dispute with the bank and am contemplating laying a charge at the SAPS. My advice to consumers is do not conduct card transactions with Uber, only cash.
House of Ribs Edenvale - Disappointing at best. This restaurant has been on a downward spiral over the last year. Don't bother ordering a salad as the food arrives cold anyway. If you are looking for a new diet plan, go to House of Ribs Edenvale as the food is inedible and you leave with an interesting after taste that not even toothpaste can negate. This was definitely my last visit. On the plus side, Wuzi's service was first class. From a management point of view, I guess the now all too common "Sorry for that" is an acceptable response that makes everything ok...sorry for you but not in my book.
EXERCISE EXTREE CAUTION when dealing with this company as they are strangers to the truth and bend their responses once they have taken your money. Having clarified prior to ordering an item that it was available in South Africa, they responded with "The goods are now in stock on our website". Please note that we all know that websites are ethereal and do not "hold stock". The implication therefore is the twisting of the facts tantamount to a lie. They fall back on a quoted ±4 weeks delivery where the stock is in fact in Singapore. In other words, they hold on to YOUR money for 4 weeks plus, reaping the interest and fobbing the buyer off with delay tactics knowing full well that the practice is at best dishonest. Their agents perpetuate the lie. Once they have your money, you have no choice but to hope that your order is fulfilled. Good luck. S&H Electronic Services are no more than **** artists.
Lies. Lies. Lies. A product is delivered and your account is debited. When the router fails and you contact the service center, you can log a call but nothing is done to resolve the issue. The call center is unable to provide answers as the solution is always handled by "a different department" with whom a client cannot make contact. No feedback is provided and the client is kept in the dark. The call center even acknowledges that they do not have the resources to deal with the problems that are reported. There 3 - 5 day commitment to resolving issues is just another lie. The fault was logged on 10 August 2022..... it is now 18 August 2022 and I am no wiser to whether or not anything is going to be done or when it is going to be resolved. The after sales service is appalling.
It would appear that wikipedia is unwittingly accurate in defining the Greek god Hermes as the \Patron and Protector\" of (amongst others) \"thieves,......roads, boundaries\". They took delivery of a parcel, displayed the tracking thereof including delivery however this was probably to the mystic kingdom ruled by Zeus.<br> <br> On enquiry, I was first informed via eMail that it was past the self-defined deadline and that the proof of delivery, a fundamental basic of the business, was no longer available. After a second enquiry, I was informed that they are not prepared to communicate with me as I was not the shipper.<br> <br> I have conveyed this information to the seller and as much as I acknowledge that the \"deadline\" is passed, I find it hard to believe that they are \"unable\" to provide any proof of delivery. More so, their unwillingness to communicate with the final recipient is at least suspicious. Couriers are supposed to be trusted with other people's personal effects and information. Under the current circumstances, I would not trust myHermes Couriers with a used toothpick. "

Even when one of the products failed due to a manufacturer's fault, there was no hesitation regarding immediate replacement. <br> <br> It was not over-sell or over-zealous and we have walked away fully satisfied.with every intent to return to the store and the salesmen in question for future purchases of equipment or upgrades. WELL DONE GUYS in an era of ambivalence. YOU ARE STARS WORTH RECOGNIZING AND REWARDING..
