We bought a lounge suite a year ago from this company on a Saturday and paid R20 000 for a suite that they told us had minor repairs, like leather marks repaired. We were fine with minor, but on the Sunday when we unwrapped the chairs, we found that they were standing very skew. On further inspection we saw that the basis of the chairs were incomplete and that they repaired with wires underneath. When we phoned them on the Monday, we were told that they do not want it back even when I explained to them that their warehouse was dark and that the chairs were standing in rows and that we could not have seen this at that stage. We were told <br> we can bring it back and they will resell it on our behalf. The problem with this is that it will become again our problem if the next person gets home with this detective lounge suite.. We were told that if we take this to lawyers which we did, they will stretch it out. We even went as far as the consumer protection act. Still no thing is done. A year later and all the chairs are even skewer, and are falling apart, as well as the colour is fading<br> Now.
We bought Adidas Lds Baricade shoes on the 25th of April. My daughter worn it twice, and the one strap were you fasten the shoe lace tore out of the stitching. We took it in for repairs on the 22nd of August, wheree we were told the shoes were olld and worn more than once. Yes it has been worn more than once, it was worn twice. The answer was that they (ADIDAS)will for this reason not repair the shoes. My husband asked that a manager phone him, and untill today we heard nothing. I went to fetch the shoes today at sportsman warehouse, were even their personel said they cant believe it, because you can see on the soles of the shoes that it was not worn much. Point is I paid R900.00 for a girls shoes, and expected for that price it will at least last. Needless to say, I will never buy Adidas again.
