I purchased a 100inch projector laser TV from Esquire Midrand and it has been giving me issues ever since. When I first contacted them and Hisense I was given a replacement projector which I recently found out is of lesser value and quality. Hisence issued a credit note to Esquire but they *****ulently gave me a different unit that has been discontinued and continues to give me issues. I have contacted the store several times and sent emails to both Esquire and Hisense but they both keep shifting the blame between each other and not taking accountability to resolve the issue. I have spoken to Khuselo Zazini from Hisense and Ntombi a team leader at Esquire whom have failed to assist me. When i request a refund Esquire insists on claiming 20% of the credit note amount from Hisense which makes no sense and was not communicated when I made the purchase. My reference number is 2528409 I can be contacted on 071 177 3008
Service was fast and without hassle. I received assistance immediately and the provider was dispatched and done within an hour
Vodacom has to be the worst service provider I have ever dealt with. This is not my first review of them complaining about their customer service. They don't care about the clients and take forever to solve problems. I called in December about my account being overcharged and requested a refund which I have not received till today. I have made several calls and emails to follow up but I keep getting transfered to another department and my calls being cutoff. As off today I can no longer call customer service because my number has called too many times and has been blocked while my refund has still not been processed. I was told my account was credited with the R2800+ that I was overcharged but my January statement/invoice reflects the full contract amount to be debited from my account without and credit app****. What does this mean Vodacom??? Where is my money??? When you took my money it was easy but it has taken you over 2weeks to pay it back!!! Appalling!!!
There is nothing i hate more than companies that ***** from their clients. I have a subscription with Supersonic for R799 per month but on the 3rd April I was debited R1 598.00 which i found very strange and called the company and the 5 people i spoke to kept transferring me to accounts and then drops. Nobody wants to tell me why there are inconsistencies in my debit orders. seems like Supersonic just decided to take any amount they wanted every month thinking that i would not notice Dec - R824.67 Jan - R799 Feb - R979.67 Mar - R799 Apr - R1 598 someone explain this to me???
I am convinced this is the only way to get through to Vodacom or for them to take you seriously. the service is so bad i keep asking myself why i still use the network and have 3 contracts with them. on the 24th March i called to upgrade my number and get a new phone, everything seemed like it went well i even received a new billing statement for the new contract. 7 days later my phone was not delivered so i call in only to find out that the contract was cancelled. No one was prepared to help me all i was told is that the matter would be escalated and someone would call me back in 48 hours. that means after two days i will have to redo the order given whatever reason they give me for cancelling the application and then wait another 7 days to get my phone delivered to my door. with every order, upgrade or purchase there is always an issue. i dont know if it is the Vodacom processes or staff that is to blame but i am extremely dissapointed in the network.
Scelo was very helpful and patient. He explained everything well. Smangele was also a pleasure to deal with she gave me the best deal. MiWay is amazing I'm here to stay💯
Vodacom are thieves!!! I changed my email address for invoicing and gave since been only getting one attachment which is the statement with only the amount they will debit each month. I pay over R4000 each month and when I checked my old email address I could see the itemised billing. They have been charging me R260 for "add to my bill" for over a year or even more, September 2020 that's as far as I've gone back. I do not have any subscriptions and when I called the consultant confirmed that she could not see any on her side as well but the only feedback I received after that was that I would be refunded for one month as goodwill. I could not believe it. Vodacom has stolen so much money from me and they send an sms from a do not reply number to shut me up. They will not get away with this. I have 3 contracts and insurance with vodacom and this is unacceptable maybe its time I take my business elsewhere. I also called insurance for a lost phone and you won't believe what they said. I cancelled my insurance on a iPhone 12 on red premium package, why would I not insure a phone I use for my business. I demanded the recording of this cancelation since they claim to record every call and I can guarantee that I never made such a request or gave consent to cancel. Now I stand to forfeit all premiums paid before the so called cancelation if I do not back pay them till July 2021. Thieves once again!!! So if you don't check your statements start doing so now because WoW what a shock!
I dont understand how MiWay thinks they can just increase your premiums and excess without consulting you. i am really fed up at this point i have even started looking for a new insurer. inflation cant be the only reason why prices go up. when i signed up i was told that my premiums would reduce as i got older and my car aged. 4 years later i am 28 and married, living is a security estate but i am worse off then when i took the insurance.
i ordered a new contract for my husband on his prepaid number on 21 June. i was told that a change of ownership was required, but since then my line has been blocked and unblocked everyday upon my call to Vodacom. yesterday i received the handset and my husband's number stopped working completely. we have been calling Vodacom trying to resolve the issue but all the staff we have spoken to were either rude or were not willing to help us immediately. when changing the prepaid number to contract we were not told that the number would be blocked for a period of time so we can make arrangements. now my husband cannot receive or make calls. he uses his number for business purposes as well and is losing clients and money due to this unnecessary inconvenience. i am very angry at the incompetence of the Vodacom staff and its systems. that something like this has been escalated since 22 June till today when we were told 24 hours. this morning we were told to wait for 24 hours again. while Vodacom continues to make money, we lose money
I was involved in a car accident and when I called to get my car towed I was told that I was not in the system. my car has been with a panel beater for some time now and when they were processing my claim they wanted to tow the car and have it assessed by their own loss adjuster. the panel beater required release fees which I was instructed to pay. I don't understand how this becomes my liability when I have insurance and they failed to tow my car. not to mention that it has been over a month since I registered the claim and the assessment was only done two days ago. these insurance people are thieves and they sell us a product promising that we have nothing to worry about when these unforeseen circumstances arise but no, its all a lie, they try by all means to cheat their way out of paying when in actual fact you have been paying your premium every month without fail. they fail you when you need them the most. I can never get through to the people handling my claim and they never reply to my emails. everything is dragged and your spirit is crushed by the fact that your car is damaged and that your insurance is giving you the run around.

(Supplier name changed from Virgin Money South Africa to Virgin Insurance by Hellopeter.com)
