My vehicle's rear left triangular window was shattered by a passing truck throwing up a stone and after contacting my insurance, Glasfit Menlyn was allocated as the installer. Great service from them. They kept me updated as to when the window was ordered, when it arrived and installed the window without any further ado. Highly recommended.
My vehicle was sent to this company by my insurers, Budget Insurance, after an accident that was caused by another vehicle not stopping at a red traffic light. My car's bumper was badly damaged and this company had to repair it. Bad bad bad service. Hardly any feedback, taking SIX weeks to repair the bumper and promises made without much happening. It took me and my son to DRIVE to this company to try and get hold of my vehicle and sit there for 3 hours while they ****pered about, trying to finish what they were supposed to do. They removed the left-hand wheel well cover and the privacy cover of the boot of the vehicle and now, three weeks later, still haven't returned our property - they "lost" it. Not recommended at all.
My Honda CRV broke down and I asked MiWay to help me get my car to the garage. They phone me back within 2 minutes and within 15 minutes they had arranged a tow truck for me to take my car to the garage.
These people descend upon unsuspecting working young students with their car insurance hullabaloo and shop talk and then without the student signing for anything or giving consent to anything, they just go ahead and deduct money from the students' meager wages. They did it to my son, deducting TWO policies for TWO months in a row and when we complained about it, they're rude and unhelpful and won't give him his money back. He's out with nearly R800, which he needed to pay his student loan off with. This company should be stopped in their tracka for fraudulent transactions! I'm extremely mad at them, taking advantage of unsuspecting and unworldly young people.
Checkers Queenswood was very "on the ball" before lockdown. They made sure every trolley was sanitised and clean before one could take a trolley and their shelves were kept stocked, although somewhat bare at places because of panic buying. The shop was kept clean and sanitised and when one exited the shop, you got a squirt of hand sanitiser on your way out. Very good service and nice place to shop.
My debit order bounced because of things beyond my control and Wayne assured me that I will still have life insurance while they put through a new debit order to pay for the new month.
