I was a MetroFibre Go customer and was migrated to MetroFibre Direct with the offer of a 250GB package for the same price that I was paying, which was R760pm. Ever since the migration in May 2023, and even though I have received acknowledgement from the company that this is an error, they have been charging me R799pm. I have sent numerous emails, logged multiple support calls and have spoken to various departments to correct this with no success. I don't know what to do anymore. Is there anyone out there who can help?
I need to extend my warranty on my laptop. I have sent 4 emails requesting someone to contact me - no response. I phoned their SA number which is re-routed to the Phillipines. I was cut off when talking to a consultant. Next request to contact me I tried to send their web site bombs out the message: "Sorry, we are unable to process your request at this time. Please contact us." They only operate during working hours -sorry... Pathetic service on something so simple. Phone me, DELL!
I ordered slipcovers and paid for them on the 26th Jan 2020. The factory eventually phoned me on the 11th March telling me that the order was ready and I asked them to deliver it to their Mall of Africa branch where I would collect. On the 19th March I phoned the branch as I had heard nothing and about the factory delivery. The salesperson told me that the slipcovers would only be delivered on the 26th March (the day BEFORE the COVID-19 lock-down) and she could phone me as soon as they arrived. I heard nothing from the salesperson but an email arrived from Coricraft H/O asking me to rate their service so I can only assume that the goods were delivered to the branch but I was not informed. At the end of the day, this has been a painful process with the warehouse taking over 7 weeks to manufacture the slipcovers, over 2 weeks to deliver them to their Mall of Africa branch and no communication from the branch as to whether they did arrive as promised. I would not recommend Coricraft unless you want to just buy something that is ready.
I actually never met Terry from Spencer Roofing as my husband got a quote and hired them. Our problem was that the supporting beam in our garage had cracked and the roof was about to come down on our cars! They came in the day after they gave the quote - without us having paid a deposit yet, but on the verbal agreement that they had the job - and put up supports in the garage to minimize any damage that could occur. Where have you ever heard of that?? They took just three days to remove all the tiles from our garage roof, replace the beam, lay waterproofing sheeting, reapply the tiles, waterproof the edges of the pa****ts connected to the garage and repaint exterior walls where necessary. Every day when I got home, the working area was spotless and they finished off by going on the roof with the hose pipe and spraying water all over the roof to make sure that no leaks were present. I am so thankful to Spencer Roofing for the excellent job that they did! In addition, the price was reasonable. I would recommend them highly!
I am another one of those people who have 80 stickers, only to be told there is no stock of this promotional item. It is irresponsible and it looks like false advertising. If you have x-amount of stickers, you should make sure that you have x-amount of product to cover them. On Saturday, the 3rd August, when I tried to redeem the stickers, I was told that there was no stock and to come back. On Saturday, the 10th August there was once again no stock and was told to "come back on Monday". Today is Monday, I went out of my way to go to the store, only to stand in a line with a very harassed employee trying to help people fill out DOZENS of pages of forms of items that are not available. Still no stock, it seems. I felt quite sorry for your staff member, PnP! Feel free to contact me and present me with the cookware.
I had the misfortune of renting out a bedroom in a commune through OC Rental. On arrival, the place was filthy, the pool was green and basically the house was falling part, but hey, it's for students so I complained until there was some improvement. At the end of my lease, I returned the keys on the 18th of Dec 2017 instead of the 15th and was charged R485 for the late return. My deposit was returned on the 29th Jan 2018, so they couldn't have been in such a hurry to close off the deal. Their attitude is clearly that they can't wait, but I should. I was charged R150 for electricity in December when no-one was in the house. The pool was atrociously green and murky for most of the year even though we paid R500 a month for them to treat it. They charged me R1,383 to paint 2 walls of the room on exit. Can you believe that they supposedly gave me a discount as the initial price R1995. I have had whole flats painted for less than that! They are THE most unhelpful bunch of people I have come across whose sole mission is to extract as much money as possible from students! My advise? Find someone else to deal with.
