I am without my line almost a month now. I have spoken to many helpful people at customer care and subscriber solutions department. Specifically a Mr Morena that has gone out of his way to assist me. But once again he can also only do so much and informs me that the I. T department has to sort thus out since my number has been deleted off the network. Now I understand that I'm wrong by going into arrears but I did make payments twice after that happened and apparently I. T. Can not get my number reactivated. Now how is this possible I want to know. After 10 plus years on the vodacom network I would think that I have a bit of leeway in regards to this matter and someone would be able to sort this out? Now I'm receiving new line vetting applications email from who knows when I applied for it. I certainly never requested that and neither authorized it. Even if you just give my number back and put me back on prepaid I will be happy and just cancel the rest of the contract since I'm still being seemingly billed for a number I do not have the privilege of owning let alone using. I would simp[ly like to know how it is possible that peoples numbers can be deleted from the network? Especially in instances like mine where i have been first a prepaid customer then contract for about 10 years. I umderstand things happens, servers go down etcetra, but to phone customer support and hear that many peopl has same issue, that is simply put "scary"', the worst of all is this number is my only income, since clients phone me then i go out to them, so now any clients that phones since friday will think im dead or similar and will not phone again since the message they hear is this number doesnt exist on the network. How can anybody compensate for the amount of business i potentially lost as well as clients!?
Review for Rudy: Subscription services again this morning: Curious thing though is we had this conversation yesterday about Vodacom not receiving a sent from this wasp services, but what then about Vodacom NXT LVL ? The others are Soccer & E-School that i am subscibed to this morning, Airtime is now R61.00 and recharge airtime R44.00. This is down from the R82.00 i had yesterday before you topped me up with R55.00. Even if i have to accept that there is a problem with the firmware, how does his make any sense? Since i do still have over 460mb data, so even if advertising services was utilising my connection it still would take data not airtime? So in other words i have used yesterday a total of R137-R61 this mornings balance so i used R76 ? Something just doesnt sound right :-( Even with subscription services: Also how can i be part of a subscription service which only allows up to 25 year olds? I am in my 40's ! Is that not maybe hint to the source of the problem? Also if i get this cancel wasp services document, will that not stop all this subscriptions? And by the way: I CAN NOT UNSUBSCRIBE BY USING 111. Tells me no subscriptions. But still shows on the phone if i get to that menu. Thank you for once again reading this and i regret having to make this for attention Rudy, but unfortunately he has been dealing with my complaints and knows the history.
Since my last complaint i have not had word from the customer relations department: The only thing i know now is that of the 4 subscriptions currently showing on my phone i can not unsubscribe from any of them. Worst of all i have not been using my vodacom sim for outgoing calls, and my balance of R150 per month has now gone down to R82. So R68 has been decucted by this services i did not and definitely do not want under any circumstances. I think that everybody with these type of issues should speak up. Where did we ever sign for this services? Please show me on my original vodacom subscription contract where i agreed to this? Or is it hidden somewhere in the small print? Or is it closeted under operational procedures? Since i can not foresee that a 3rd party service can become a operational procedure or necessity if whatever 3rd party was not a member of the principal company namely vodacom at that time that i signed the agreement. Since in my very limited legal knowledge a addendum to the primary contract would then have had to be signed by myself as well as the service provider. One thing I know for sure is that i am not going to renew my up contract again if things do not get sorted out, or investigating the porting option. Because really i mean i have had a lot of patience so far, and as life goes i really have more important things to concentrate on than my diminishing airtime due to wasp services. Please, please give this issue all possible attention, so that we may be able to resolve this amicably. Regards Chris

Dear Person/persons Rudy if available: I have promised to re-evaluate my review after having a long conversation with representative Rudy, which was very informative due to the simple fact that I am in I.T. as my primary income and he is definitely in the know and knowledgeable enough to have had a intelligent conversation. Well for my feedback as of right now since my reason for not reviewing earlier was that i was waiting for the new month and my new subscription airtime: I on advice from your representative factory reset my phone, and only installed 2 apps with the default apps on the phone, namely whatts app and absa banking. Well needless to say, i was subscribed again to cooking lessons something lifestyle and phonetically spelt vuyze something services. I was told to go to a vodacom shop to fill in a form which then stops wasp services; only problem with that is that i do not go to centre's much since i am somewhat disabled. These services has now today or since 12.01 am till 6.30pm used R26 of my airtime. Since my phone is running default for calls on 8ta, so i know i did not use that on calls. Is there anyway that this cancel wasp services permanently can be emailed to me that i can print it sign it and email it back? Since really i have had almost no issues with vodacom for quite some time, years in fact, till this wasp services now came to light, and like i said i am not running any free services on my phone except whatts app and absa banking. And also did not retrieve any apps from cloud services at all. Please advise at your earliest convenience since else i really will be forced to seek a alternative service provider to port to, since this matter is still left largely unresolved; although Rudy did assist in a logical and intelligent way, and i am happy that we covered most aspects of this issue, although like i mentioned it is not resolved yet. Good day, to whom it may concern, management and staff SPCA That your organisation does a vital service to the community is true, I fully agree with that. The streets would definitely be more full of stray animals if your organisation did not exist. My hat goes off especially but not limited to the volunteers and others who goes beyond the call of duty willing to go the exstra mile for these animals, to ensure their survival where applicable and to otherwise let them die with dignity as necessary. The only complaint if you could call it that is the adoption fee. I have happily got enough space for another meduim to big sized dog. But I find it ridiculous that i could buy a animal as a puppy for cheaper that i can adopt one. One thing that is commonly stated over and over by yourselves and other similar organisations is that its better to adopt and to rather adopt since that way backyard breeders will become less popular and eventually hopefully die out. I also understand the point that adopting a animal means that at that time of adoption it is believed to be in good health, spayed or neutered, and all injections are up to date. I believe though that for the normal person on the street, low to middle income to pay R710 up to R1000 (which certain organisations are charging for adoption) is a bit out of the budget, this is people like myself that only wants a pet for the kids to play with, learn responsibility and because of our love of animals want to care for it. I know that most of these organisations are non profit or even non goverment subsidised but i believe that at least the spaying neutering cost should be attributed to goverment subsidisation, so that the R400/R500 saving can be passed onto those that wants to adopt but can not justify giving such a large percentage of their monthly income away. Before this matter is addressed properly i can not foresee that more and more people will adopt; rather they will buy the cute puppy from the guy next door for R300/R400 because in the end its simply about economics, price and affordability. If there is a way or if their is a more subsidised option price wise please do let me know, I will happily adopt one more at a reduced rate.
Again after my complaint of yesterday,and numerous previous complaints; this morning i was subscribed to "like it" I mean really??? I so not even know what like it is supposed to do for me in the grand scheme of life :(
Really, how many more complaints do i have to type into this web site? I am beyond frustrated, only logical thing remaining for me is to port to another service provider. Yes i have received the once of R55, and yes anybody is gratefull for free airtime; but really somehow vodacom got it right to block certain subscriptions to which im gratefull; but i just received a sms from + ********** ********** 24 telling me i have just subscribed to Vuclip games @ R5 a day.!!! I was driving, not even close to my phone and the internet! Now explain this to me! How could i click on something if im not on my phone, and worse of all i immediately went to cancel subscriptions and guess what it comes as 3 different subscriptions! So there you go another R15 gone at least from another subscriber without ever knowing where it went and most importantly why??? Really i think i shall just port this number, it seems that is the only way i am going to put this matter to rest.
Good day, to whom it may concern @ Vodacom. Firstly may i thank the person or persons involved in having my account credited with R350. This was a positive thing. However, what is the use of you crediting my account if the issue has not been resolved yet? I saw this morning that my 'given' airtime was going at a alarming rate, then i thought to c heck for subscription services. Well i have 3 again! And well i can not unsubscribe from them!!! The system tells me you are not currently subscribed to any services. And when in my life im going to use the soccer service i honestly do not know! And whatever else was listed there aswell! And please do not mention to me again i must not click on ads. I on my android phone can not click back it doesnt do anything! Only option i have is to click on the x in the ad. Which i do. I hardly browse with my phone mostly maps whattsapp and check my email. So, please please is their nothing that can be done about wasp services? No way that you can block it like you inadvertently blocked my unsubscribe function? Because really its more than a irritation; and just like i do not have the time and patience to complain every day, i am sure that my complaints is now also getting tedious; please resolve this matter at your earliest convenience since this is not really stretching my patience. TERRIBLE!!! After my initial complaint and my subsequent reply to it NOTHING HAPPENED. NO REPLY NO FOLLOW UP! This morning im sitting in the car and decide to buy the 1 hour all network promotional package. Great was my suprise when i can not due to insufficient funds. So i check my balance 0.00. Then i once again check for wasp subscriptions; yip there they are 6 of them!!! Fashion & beuty etc. Stuff in my life i will never subscribe to. I demand a answer and my airtime back. If i do not get a reply to this I will use any and all social media to broadcast this, as well as port to another network at my earliest convenience. This is blatant robbery and I will not stand for it, even if i have to go so far as to start a petition on social media. I want wasp services blocked and i want my airtime back. And this time i am not asking; I am demanding! Just like vodacom demands and expects its payment every month, i demand and expect to be able to choose what i subscribe to, as well as spend my money on and or airtime.
