Upon arrival at the car rental in Namibia, the assistant did the check of hte bakkie (pic-up) with me. I noticed the back wheels were totally worn down while hte front tyres were new. I complaiend adn said I need a replacement to which she said there were no other bakkies. On route I had a flat ont eh back tyre which was totally destroyed and lost 3 hours thus missing two meetings and inconveniencing a number of people. I drove mostly on tar and sand so the tyres were shredded by wear and tear. THen they overcahrged me for the car forgettign tot take off the deposit. ANd no word of apology when I complained when I returned the car. IN fact they told me I needed to replace the tyre, which i refused to do. I think the billed me for the tyre replacement as I cant understnad why the cost was so high.
Our SMEG OVEN glass shattered straight out of the oven door all over our kitchen when i was about 2 years old. We got in touch with Roger who replaced it for quite some cost. Roger was a SMEG repairer working for SMEG. We then called Roger last week. The glass had come off again (not shattered). And he charged us R650 for a call out fee to just give a quote on work he had done. Now, we called SMEG to find out he no longer works for SMEG. And SMEG have taken over 1 week to get back to us. And still no reply after chasing them up. SMEG, what mus we do to have an oven door that does not break and come off. The rubber connectors ( a type of glue) doesn't seem to hold. Please can someone help us.
Hi SAfair. What a shocker. My son flew LIFT up to Durban from Cape Town due to non availabilityy of SAFAIR flights and the exhorbitant fee for unaccomanied minors with SAFAIR. What an amazing experience for my sone flying with LIFT. The staff were kind and friendly. And they did not charge us for his car booster seat which we needed for his safety. Nor for the unaccompanied minor service. Then on the way back, we flew SAFAIR which had been my preferred airline for the last 5 years. Always on time and always friendly. When I got to the aiport ( I was taking my son back home) the cold and unfriendly staff said I had to pay for the booster car seat. I could not believe it but forked out the money. I am going on social media to tell parents with young children to rather fly LIFT as this treatment that puts the safety of our child is uncaring and callous. One little booster seat in the hold needed to be chrged for. When other airlines dont charge for this. So much for being a child-friendly airline. Cheers and we will avoid you in the future
I ordered a dish rack over 2 weeks ago and onlyntoday donthwy announce they no longer stock the thing. We have been waiting patiently for this order that was bundled into other things. And now there is no receipt of this thi g that probably held back the other orders which we urgently needed. Lesson: don't order things that hold back your order. Rather break it up into separate ones. That said Takealot should have informed us immediately or the following day. Shocking service.
Discovery Bank lost my trust over the last 6 months. I signed up because I felt they had a great ethics and unique product offering. I had been a Discovery customer for 20 years and then this Due to a once off situation over the January holiday period I missed a payment due to insufficient funds. As soon as I realised I paid the full.amount. Turns out Doscovery deleted the auto.debit order without informing me. Once I figured this out I immediately phoned them and told them to reinstate it and settle the full balance to avoid any more interest being incurred. 2 months later they still havent done it and they are charging interest to my account. To top it off the complaints person phones me up last week (2-3 weeks after the complaint) and tells me I am in the wrong and that I did not instruct them to settle the full balance. I lost it and embarrassingly I swore at the guy. I feel terrible for that. However he went on and on telling me how I was wrong and had not done what I said. So I am now reverting to complaining on public forums to get Discovery to pay back the money. Discovery if you read this - shame on you. Your service is diabolical. You have no right to keep charing me interest when you deleted the auto payment and you continue not to settle the full amount despite my express wishes.
Poor Service form FNB forex. First, I complete a payment my APP. As I load it the app goes down. Two days later I still dont have the money in my account. Then I complain. Person requests IT to help out. Technician says it settled. It settled because I phoned the consultant and wasted 1 hour of my time explaining the situation. The consultant had to manually make the forex transfer into my account as it got stuck in the Nether World. I lost two days of interest and management time. But more importantly the technician lied and questioned my integrity. GREAT (note the sarcasm) customer service.

No joint incoming and outgoing inspection. R20000 taken off our credit card for unfounded reasons. We were informed table top and 10 deckchairs would be replaced using this deposit. No apology received for bad service<br> <br> *Disruption of privacy:3 days of holiday were disturbed by tradesmen. Grinding of tiles. Terrible burning smells throughout the house. House should not be rented to guests while major repairs are taking place.<br> <br> Our guests were particularly concerned about security. One of the reasons for choosing this house was the 24 hr live in security. This was not present.<br> <br> R19500 was refunded upon our insistence after claims made against us were unfounded. Agents claimed that we had taken items such as coat hangers and other household items and damages to a table not sealed.<br> <br> We feel agents in this matter were taking advantage of the credit card deposit to fix normal wear and tear caused by occasional use of the house<br>
