Regional Manager: Marisa Ellen Date of Purchase: Saturday, 11 October 2025 Delivery Dates Promised: 13–15 October 2025 Actual Delivery Attempt: 18 October 2025 Complaint Reference: 9000446477 Summary of Complaint: On 11 October 2025, a credit facility was approved at Bradlows Lenasia, and we purchased wardrobes with the assurance that delivery would occur within 2–3 working days and that the wardrobes would arrive assembled. The sales process was efficient, and we were asked to leave a review, which we gladly did. However, the delivery process turned into a prolonged and distressing experience: Delivery Delays: Despite confirmation, delivery did not occur on the promised date (15 October). Communication was poor, and updates were only provided after we initiated contact. False Assurances: We were repeatedly told the wardrobes were being assembled and would be delivered “tomorrow,” which never materialized. Disruption to Our Home: We removed built-in cupboards in preparation for the new wardrobes, resulting in significant inconvenience and disruption. Poor Product Quality: When delivery finally occurred on 18 October, the wardrobes were: Poorly assembled Scratched Misaligned drawers and doors Nails protruding into hanging space Broken drawer components Missing finishing touches like wood filler The delivery technician confirmed these issues to the store manager, who acknowledged the poor condition. We requested a solution, such as replacement or alternative cupboards of equal value, but were told the sale would be cancelled instead. Our Position: Cancelling the sale does not resolve the issue. We are left without wardrobes after removing our existing ones based on Bradlows’ commitment. We are not seeking free products, only a fair resolution that reflects: Our right to fair value, good quality, and safety under the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 Our protection from over-indebtedness under the National Credit Act No. 34 of 2005
I had an account with MTN account from 2001 , in 2 ********** account was handed over to Norman Bissett & Associates ( due to me being unemployed at the time ) when I found employment I made a payment arrangement with them , last debit was in 2016 Last week I checked my credit report , to my surprise with account is still open with a balance outstanding From Monday 25.03.2019: I’ve been on the phone , with both Norman Bissett and MTN Call centre @ Norman Bissett : Reference no. ********** , Contact Number: ********** • They confirmed I had an account which was called back by the customer( MTN) in 2016. They have no further records @ mtn , they the worst .Called the Call Centre : ********** reference no.: 159538 and sent an email as instructed • To date I had no feedback ( turnaround time 24- 48 hours passed) • There is no direct line to contact the legal department , how is one to sort this out if you can’t speak to someone , an actual person • And not forgetting you hold for hours with no service My request : • I want a paid up letter and my profile updated on both ITC and Experian, as this debit prescribed from Feb 2016 to Date • If they say I’m owing , I want a detailed recon and away forward It’s been 3 days with no answer from the service provider . Just to sort this out , that I have to go to this extreme
ON THE 30TH APRIL 2015 MY ATM CARD RETAINED AT A NEDBANK ATM. WHILST STANDING AT THE ATM I BLOCKED MY CARD REF: 739255134 08:03AM CALL CONCLUDED BEFORE HANGIING AS THE CLERK IF ANY MOVEMENT DUE OF WHICH SHE CONFIRMED AN ATM MOVEMEMENT OF R3K. ANGERED AND FRUSTRATED ASKED WHO IS THAT POSSIBLE IF IM STANDING AT THE ATM , THE CARD WAS SWOLLED NO MONEY CAME NOR ANY SLIP. REFERRED ME THE BANK TO LOGGED A COMPLAINT OF WHICH I DID AND HAD TO MAKE A NEW CARD. AFTER FOLLOWING UP 2X WITHBTHE BANK THERE AFTER THEY CAME BACK TO ME ON THE 12/05/2015\SORRY YOUR CLAIM WAS DECLINED AS PER SASSWITCH DEPART THERE ATM BALANCES!"THAT'S LIKE THE OBVIOUS ANSWER. I NEED MORE PROOF SURELY THE ATM HAS CAMERAS"
