I approached Vantage to assist me with a Debt Councelling process. They guided me and gave me a heads up not to pay any of my creditors. 2 months into it the creditors were still showing up at work asking money. I repeatedly reached out and was assured by Vantage they would handle these creditors. After paying R7 000 I am told oh sorry these creditors chose not to form part of the process. I started debating with Gershwin from Vantage and he kept saying oh sorry. I would not recommend anyone falling for the same trap as I did. My bank charges sky rocketed because of unpaif debit orders, I have people showing up at work collecting for creditors which I was told for 2 months would be contacted. I am in deeper financial constraints because of Vantage Debt Managements actions and misleading assurances. I feel I made a judgement error by believing they help!!!!!
We got ****** by a Bolt Driver!!! Please be vigilant!!!! We sent a tv after someone ****med us. When we got wind of it we called the Bolt Driver who *********ed us to pay money over to him. He sold the tv, we reported to the SAPS as well as BOLT but no one did anything. We lost R5000 because of BOLT and their dishonest drivers.
I recently bought cereal from a local shop and found that they stuck a price over the expiry date of the product and then sold it long after it expired. Now I know brands have reps that do store visits. I reported the matter via email to Bokomo when it happend and that is where it ended. Nothing....... Just silence. It put us of the Bokomo Cereal Brand completely and my kinds used to love the brand. Very very disappointed that they just dont care
I recently app**** through Vantage for Debt Relief. I sent them all my information and they kept promising all my creditors would be included and informed. No one has issued Summons or Judgment against me. Then came my installment date and they kept asking about my payment. No other communication. Meanwhile in my world I have creditors showing up at my work demanding payment. My bank account going R1800 into the red as they keep trying to run debit orders. Calling me on a daily basis....and all Vantage can say after R7000 for costs is they will escalate the matter to their Sales Team. I honestly feel this was the biggest mistake of my life as they did their own thing. I sent them a list of creditors pre application but still some creditors who has starter no legal process gets to choose that I will be harassad for money while Vantage life their best life eating my payments.

Many years ago my grand father had a funeral policy with Clientele Life. When he passed, Clientele refused to make the payout and said his medical records showed he had Hypertension which he did not disclose. I requested the proof which they refused to provide. I reported them to the Ombudsman and it died a still and quite death. Their add said no medical examination needes. He paid them every single month just for them to come back with such utter nonsens. Years later I suffer from Hypertension - and if I do not have medication I feel horrible. So I sat and thought to myself how did he survive without medication and how did he not drink anything for it throught his life. I went with him to every doctors appointment and never did they mention such. They kept all his installments and did not provide sufficient evidence. Have never recommended them and never will. They take families for a ride to buy in and then leave them without any compensation. If I had the knowledge I have today I would not have stoppend fighting them. He paid for his policy so we could have the "peace of mind" they offered only for me to start off with credit at a young age to bury him. Such sweet wotds...
I have been asked if I would like to become an agent for Lewis Group to source customers. So I got a customer and took him to store. His credit was approved, his delivery was made and all is done EXCEPT the commission. The consultant at Lewis Stores Meyerton have kept postponing the matter. It is pending since 7 October 2025. Exactly 9 days later. I spoke to the consultant on 15/10 who informed me I can come today, 16/10. I messaged her this morning and informed her I am coming this afternoon as she said come today to collect my commission. When I arrived at the Store, I was told oh sorry its not yet approved??!!!! So I was informed come today, the WHOLE DAY PASSED and nothing was done to resolve the matter. The consultant even told me she has no idea how to resolve the issue. It feels like the BRANCH HAS NO INTEGRITY because what they say and what they do are worlds apart. They could not call me and tell me oh sorry we are not trainer properly, no I had to incur the expenses to go in only to return empty handed. When you want to buy from Lewis they help you very quick when there is anything after that you can forget about the service. There is no service so there is probably nothing to complain about. I feel like LEWIS is not phased about this matter.
I recently bought parts for a service from AHK Vanderbijlpark. I am a woman not a man who knows cars, so I asked for a service kit on a Volvo S40. I was sold a very expensive pump of R760.00 which I did not need for a minor service which I did tell the Counter Salesman. I asked my brother to return the pump for me based on the background. He was at AHK Vanderbijlpark today and was told the slip clearly states no refund. But SELLING ME SOMETHING YOU KNOW I DONT NEED YO MAKE MONEY OFF ME just does not sit well with me. I even complained in store about the price but the salesman insisted I would need it and he had no generics only the original. I can not afford to buy parts which will collect dust because someone wants to make a buck off me sorry. Utterly disappointed that this happens to us as single woman. I feel "******" even "milked" for my hard earned money.

We recently signed a contract for a property with Letting Unlimited. Everything was arranged and today a few days before our move, the agent let us know we can no longer rent the property because the owner did not approve it? 3 weeks into the notice period. We were offered a substandard place which is situated in a complex where the ethnic preferrences are were made clear - placing us at risk. Credit check were done and all was approved. If we had gone through the process and accepted the contract, signed and agreed. The owner is not of the intention to occupy the premises personally! This is clear evidence of breach of contract - leaving us stranded 3 days before the move.
