Wow Nedbank get worse and worse. The other day the money app was off for how long. Today I was debited R30 for "onbetaalde koste". When I talk to an official of Nedbank a Sithole I was told it is a technical error and it will be fixed but no timeframe when. Lately I only have problems with Nedbank.
In 2025 I did an ex-gratia application and I add an invoice that we paid for a school psychologist to get permission for some special assistance for school as the kids has severe ADHD. The whole year GEMS staff didn't work on the ex gratia and more on the invoice that was still not paid and we paid the R9450 out of pocket. With all the issues the lady advise because by then it was 6 months later no payment for invoice and nothing done to application and already in October to redo the whole process early January 2026. So we rush and redo the whole application early January 2026 and submit it. There were invoices for things GEMS didn't paid (benefits depleted). We paid it out of our own pockets again so that the application can move. We are already at middle April 2026, still no word from ex gratia so again we will have little time to fix the occupational and speech backlog.
I recently bought from a picture on Google from Takealot some insoles (on the search as well as on takealot app) it seems you buy 2 pair for R222. It seems then not a bad deal and I decided to buy 2 of it meaning 4 pair will go a long way. I have the pic but now after arriving it was only 1 pair. I needed it urgent ao I use the pair but complain to Takealot who care nothing. It is already a week and there response is I should have read the description. My question who should I believe the desription or the pacakge. When I search on google why did it pop up with picture saying 2 pair.
Wow yesterday I got an sms for the first time saying I'm overdue on my provisional tax filing. First why didn't SARS informed me earlier by e-mail or sms that I'm now a provisional tax payer. Also when I talk to the help line 0800 number they say they don't work with it and I should have done it already since I went on early pension in 2023. I played on the e-filing system mine is deactivated so I activate it but now you need to do projections on your losses and sales (I'm a government pensioner, I don't work anywhere, I don't have an extra income only my investment and bank accounts). I invest my lump sum for rainy days or for years when we will not be able to pay our bills as our increments get lesser and lesser yearly with inflation growing out of control. For the first time I believe SARS and government try to even milk pensioners for their *******ion activities. If government don't know how to balance there books leave the pensioners alone.
Today I want to congratulate GEMS with the appointment of Nabeelah in the dentistry section. We have a kid(my grandchild) who can't get dentistry work done without sedation. Last year they need to stop work after he continuously throw up during the filing of a tooth, al other work was put on hold as we couldn't afford sedation and dentist was not wiling to help further. This year we got a new dentist and after Nabeelah's intervention, help and explaining. Staying calm and helpful to me to get the paperwork done and correct we can continue now. Thanks for all the help and effort to make this experience really remarkable!
Wow again to GEMS. I get chronic medication so my blood pressure and thyroid under control. My dr send me for cholesterol test which GEMS ask me to do each year. Last year it show high but I decided to wait and do another test 6 months later to see if it is rwally high. Now the result is all high except the HdL cholesterol. So the dr's office send it in on Thursday afternoon. Prescription for approval with all blood test from Lancet through. On Monday I hear I need to wait 2 working days, but I got a letter that I don't understand and access card with things on that I didn't understand (use as I am with GEMS) I filed it (can't find it also) indicating they need more info. Why don't they explain to the dr what they need as I don't understand medical things I trust my dr. I phone 5 minutes later to ask if I can get it on acute as my mom is on cholesterol meds and seems dangerous to my heart if it is high and not controlled. After the person helped me (without any more info this time), they will send it again in for approval. This time I need to do nothing except waiting another 2 days. Still knowing if approved or not. It is a PMB condition also not sure how bad for my health and heart without the right meds. My dr was troubled about the results and immediately want me on something, GEMS said it is not urgent or necessary we will disapproved it. Thanks GEMS
Nedbank become very fast the most incapable bank. Two weeks back I could not buy a flight ticket, today my invest account on the money app is gone but yesterday it was available. Nedbank also don't care about their poor service it is sorry, my apologies but clients must suffer.
I will never use Absolute Pets. I order dog food online. I git diffirent messages and a week later they just inform me sorry the online product should have been removed from the web. I can no longer get the 12kg and now I need to take 2kg's instead that is more expensive and I can only get 8kg for same price as the 12kg and some of the food I need to take another cheaper brand. I will never ever use Absolute Pets again. I wiped the app and left my card with them. I realized I can order for cheaper from another company and over R500 it is even delivered at my front door so no more fuel waste after 3 times to try to get my food. Wonder when I will get my money? There service suck and they very unprofessional. Take no ownership if the mistake or faults just sorry and you wonder if word is not just use and how genuine it is.
I got an e-mail from Courier Guy reading "delivery failed attempt". I now try to find out what happened as the contact person was not phoned and there is a person whole day at home. Courier Guy has a one way communication system on whatsapp. The cut your conversation off and don't even care to talk to you. They left you with info and that is that. I was a very loyal customer of Courier Guy but from today I dislike you as I dislike Buffalo. Think you are the 2 worst delivery companies.
Wow I went this morning to Makro at the main section I was helped with a smile but at the liquor section there is only 1 person at sale and she need to do security work also. I left my trolley and will not use them again. Makro service is going down the drain
