The disappointment is hard to handle when one spends a lot of money on an item. I purchase a couch from Hirshs, it was on sale about 18 months ago and the seats are now starting to sag and feel very uncomfortable and makes my back sore, I would have expected a couch to last way longer. I have asked Hirshs to replace this and they have said they will repair it! and it will take up to 10 days, my question is, was this couch was not constructed correctly in the first place?? and how will repairing it now after only 18 months ( I am the only person using it and its only at night to watch tv) help and secondly what do I do in the when the seats sag again after a fews months. I have suggested that they replace it with a different couch and I am very happy to pay the difference in price to get a better quality couch however it seems that Hirshs do not want to do that, I have purchased many, many items from Hirsh but this is the most expensive and should have lasted at leave 6 years, needless to say I will not recommend Hirshs for furniture.
I returned a pair of long pants and did not have the slip but the staff at woolworths Hillcrest were fantastic they searched for the slip on their computer and found it and refunded me via a gift voucher. Absolutely excellent service, thanks you Woolworths.
Sent a smar****ch back and a week later its still waiting for to be sent to the merchant???? how long can this take? really not great service.
I accidentally transferred a fairly large amount of money from my current account at standard bank to my home loan and now I can’t transfer it back I have emailed home loans and asked them to transfer it back asap but I re received a reply today to say they need a letter signed by all parties on the loan!! I am the only party on the loan and every single time I try get any thing done with home loan I get told this same stupid thing!!!! I have all my accounts with standard bank and have been for over 30 years but I think it’s time to move. Yes, I made a mistake transferring money to this account but I need the money back and I always pay my homeloan. I am really frustrated that the process is so complicated and unprofessional I’m not at all impressed standard bank!!!!’ This is a very simple thing, I would hate to see you handle complex issues. Absolutely useless. I want my money back in my current account asap. Carol
I bought a shed from Riverhorse valley branch, paid for them to come and assemble it, the failed to advise the assembly team so they didn’t arrive in the day that I had booked them. I rebooked and the team arrive late then they inform me that the shed has to be assembled on a slab of concrete! Nowhere on builders warehouse online where i purchased the Keter shed does it say anything about the fact that this had to be assembled on a slab of cement. Now builders have the cheek to want to charge me a call out for them to come back to assemble the shed and still nowhere does it say anything about assembling the shed on concrete. Really poor advertising, poor service, poor advice. You can fetch your shed and refund me I will purchase this elsewhere. Absolutely awful service
Absolutely shocking service, totally useless ! Had to call three times today and held on for 15 to 20 minutes each time. Problem still not sorted!! Time to cancel as I’m not paying this much money for such awful service.
Dear Momentum, Sadly after weeks and weeks of calling and waiting I have no option but to complain! I do understand that with the flood in KZN you must be very busy. However your service is shocking!! and I am no losing money as you have not 1) upgraded my insurance policy correctly 2) refunding me for damages 3) collecting the damaged good. Its been almost one month and I am still calling your inept call centre for answers only to be given the run around. I am shocked and disappointed at the awful service. Actually you deserve no stars

I have momentum hospital plan, so I decided to find out more about how multiply works. I call the call centre and spoke to a consultant who told me that If I followed the procedure and got my health assessment done at diskem, completed all the online questionaires, and walked 10 000 steps for 16 days of the month then I would qualify to get between R750 and R550 cashback into my momentum account and I could use this to pay for Dr visits and medicine. I asked him again if this was how it worked and he said yes, I asked him how I get the steps checked and he told me that I would need a device which I could buy either at the momentum shop or other stores. Then I checked again and he said if I did all these I would qualify for cashback of R750 - R550 which I thought was really nice as it cost R224 to join per month so that meant I would have R225 to put towards my medical costs as long as I did the 10 000 steps and all the other stuff. I immediately joined multiply, went to diskem and had my health assessment, completed all the online questionaires, and bought a watch from the momentum website in order to monitor my steps so that I met the critera of 10 000 steps. Only then did I find out that the information I was given was incorrect and that the actual cashback I would receive is R100 for each R500 I pay towards my medical , as I pay R1236 that equates to R200 pm which really makes no sense as I would pay R244 pm to join multiply and then be out of pocket R44 a month. So I checked again and was told this is correct, so I cancelled. I was given the incorrect information and I am asking for a refund of the watch that I bought for R1000 for this purpose only! I don't have money to waste and will not be using this watch for any other purpose. I bought it based on the information that I was given by the call centre so I request a refund. I find that the people at the call centre did not give me the proper information (I have a recording) and I am very disappointed that I went through the whole process for nothing and am out of pocket. Very angry.
