This has been my worst experience with a medical aid in a very long time. My mother had a waiting period, and I pay penalties for her every month, but none of her treatments are approved. So I essentially have to pay the medical aid and pay my mother's treatments cash; it makes no sense. I hate Bonitas, they're the pits. I wish I'd never changed my medical aid. Worst decision I've made. It has given me sleepless nights, and my stress levels are through the roof. They used to be one of the best medical aids around but now it's no use even being with them.
My telematics device stopped tracking my trips, I receive no rewards. I've been trying to call Activate by Absa for the last two weeks, the call volumes are always high, never get through. I've emailed them, they never reply. How am I supposed to receive assistance, this is very frustrating.
I stupidly took out a Vodacom contract because I needed a device, my original payment was R395 but it would increase each month despite the fact that I never used all the data or airtime. It eventually became R500 and I refused to pay it. Eventually they sent me a bill for the balance of what I owed and I paid it. But Vodacom is still showing up on my credit profile as "missed payments" even though I have paid them. This is affecting my credit score in a negative manner.
FNB has once again changed their interface when withdrawing your Paypal funds. It keeps giving an error, so you think your withdrawal was unsuccessful, but the money is no longer in Paypal. There is no recognition of withdrawal, how are you supposed to know if you're going to get your money. This is a disaster when you depend on that money and have urgent matters to attend to. Last time it took weeks to sort out. I wonder when I'll get my money now.
I seem to be having the same problem as several other people. I've released funds through FNB from my PayPal account and usually it is in within 3 to 5 days. But they've changed something in their online banking and since then it seems like people's funds are not being released without numerous calls and complaints. You call and email and they still don't assist you. I'm hoping this will get a response, because I don't know how else to get my money from FNB. If it weren't for the fact that they have the monopoly with PayPal, I wouldn't use them at all. Their service has never been good. It seems rather shady to hold onto everyone's money and not address this issue when it's clear that people have been struggling with this for more than two weeks now. I thought FNB was so innovative, but they can't even address problems as they arise.
