My issue started when Vuma called me to inform me that they got a request to terminate my fiber. I called Mweb to enquire and the lady told me that there is no outstanding amount and no notice to disconnect. The next day, my line went dead. When I called, the gentleman told me that my debit orders were unpaid for Feb and March, yet my app showed 0. The lady again told me that my contract expired. After multiple calls, I was told to pay the one month plus reconnecting fee. That I did. I sent the proof of payment and then nothing. Today, I was told that I need to wait till Tuesday for the service to be reconnected. It could have been completed yesterday but I got transferred from person to person and then they left for the weekend. I am peeved to say the least!
I ordered a 300 Gram Rump with onion rings described as melt in the mouth steak. It was not close to that. It had zero taste, was tough and not appetising. I'm totally disappointed. The onion rings were excellent. The rest, blah... 😪
I ordered stewing beef from Checkers for delivery. When it arrived, i was appalled at the ******* which was deliverwd. All the fat, bones and s**** offcuts which should be classified as petfood was in there. They sell it as potjie kos meat but it is nothing like their add on the app. I went back and the manager replaced it with the meat which was advertised on the app. This is not the first time we have received ******* from Checkers by sixty 60. We ordered meatpies for our unexpected guests a few months ago and it turned out to be pies which were kept over and reheated. Although it gets fixed with a sincere apology, it cannot be excused. This should never happen in the first place.
Well, now the penny dropped. I properly cleaned every single wall tile in the bathroom usuling sugar soap, and folliwed by isupropalAlcohol. We painted 2 coats on the walls giving a 24 hour interval between coats. There is very poor adhesion and no scratch resistance, whatsoever. You can actually peel the paint off the ceramic tiles with ease.
I decided to complete the tiling in my bathroom with whatever tiles I could find and then repaint using Duram PrimeX which I tinted dove gray for the walls and light gray for the floor. We prepared the tiles by scrubblin each tile using a scrubby and sugarsoap and then washing off several times to remove residue. The paint went on easily and covered very well. It all looks amazing. I left it for a full 24 hours and only started using the bathroom this morning. On the floir, I have noticed the paint blistering where my heels impacted. This is bare feet, not shoes. Ill see how it goes during the week and report.
I woke up on the morning of the 13th of June, 2024 with two deductions made off my account at the same time at 00h00 on the 12th. I was slleping and so was my daughter. I immediately requested more info from Ubereats and received an email that the issue was escalated. I sent another email a week ago but up to now, still nothing. I got *****ed over by R350. 00 in total. Dont use Ubereats. They dont solve anything!
I ordered a meat lasagne through Mr. D which was delivered in good time. When I received the food it was looking appetising but when I started eating it, only the top was warm. Inside the food was sloppy and ice cold like it was just quickly heated from the freezer. This will be my last order from this restaurant, for sure. For the price, it's a definite NO from me!
Web Africa absolutely cannot be reached. I have a fibre line with a problem. I have been trying to phone them which just switches automatically to WhatsApp, which goes absolutely nowhere. You are promised callbacks which doesn't happen. Their client zone has a live😂😂😂chat, which also goes nowhere. I want to shift to another company who are more competent but cannot speak to anybody about it. My connection is dead and no way to have it turned on! This was the best provider ever! Now just a shadow of its former self!
I ordered an Earth Leakage breaker from Takealot which was delivered on 29/12/23 Upon receiving the item, I opened the box and found a normal 64 Amp breaker and not what was ordered. I immidiately went online and arranged for the return and replacement with the correct item. The collection was done days before it was supposed to be done. The delivery of the correct item is quiet. Attempts to contact by formfield, email and phone proved to be unsuccessful. I cannot complete the job due to their mistake which is now more than a week outstanding
Hi. This morning my daughter ordered one large chips to be delivered by Mr. D. When the chips arrived, my daughters realized that, A: the packet was not sealed, B: the chips packet was half full, C: the Mr. D delivery guy placed the packet on the ground in front of the door and was attempting to leave without knocking and giving it to her. I immediately called the branch in Anderbolt, Gauteng, and notified them of the issue. The manager informed me that his staff was, in fact, instructed to seal the packets and staple them. This packet had no sticker nor staples on them. He then informed me that I could come and collect free chips from his shop. I feel utterly insulted! Firstly, I hold fishaways responsible for creating the opportunity for the Mr. D driver to skim the food by not ensuring the safety of the clients. The correct response would have been to offer to replace the chips by delivering it or have it delivered at his expense, not by getting me to drive 8 kilos to collect "free" chips. This is not the first time this has happened as the stickers are normally tampered with but it is difficult to prove, so we just don't complain. This will be the end of our relationship with your company and I am putting this note on Social media as well as HelloPeter. I think it's imperative for the public to know that you have the same flipping attitude towards safety as Mr.D has toward honest trading.
