I am extremely disappointed with Netstar and the level of service I received during a recent vehicle theft incident. My vehicle was ****** on 24 May, and despite being a fully registered customer, I was not contacted even once during the entire incident. There were no alerts, no phone calls, no warnings, and no proactive communication to inform me that anything unusual was happening with the vehicle. In a situation where every minute matters, this complete lack of response was very concerning. I had to take the initiative myself to try and get information, but even then the communication was not helpful in real time. There was no immediate support or urgency shown while the situation was unfolding. In contrast, the vehicle was ultimately recovered through the assistance of Cartrack, who responded quickly and handled the recovery professionally. This experience has made it very clear that Netstar did not provide the level of service expected from a vehicle tracking company, especially in an emergency situation. Due to this failure in communication and response, I will be terminating my contract. Very disappointing and unacceptable service overall.
My vehicle was ******, and I was immediately alerted directly by Cartrack that the tracking system was being jammed. That quick notification alone showed how seriously the situation was being handled and gave us the chance to stay informed in real time during a very stressful moment. Within less than 35 minutes, we received a follow-up call from the responding officers confirming that the vehicle had been successfully located and recovered in Soweto. The speed of response, coordination between Cartrack and law enforcement, and constant updates made a huge difference in what could have been a very difficult situation. I truly appreciate the professionalism and efficiency shown throughout the entire recovery process. Well done to the Cartrack team for the fast action and excellent service.
