3rd iPad Pro failure - iStore misrepresenting CPA law lam on my third iPad Pro M4 replacement, and l am facing a fourth hardware failure. Every unit provided by Store Mall of Africa has suffered from recurring hardware defects (Service Refs: MA106543, MA109231, MA112115). Instead of a permanent resolution, Team Leader Matthew H. is attempting to force a fourth M4 unit on me. He is misrepresenting the CPA by claiming my rights expired after 90 days (Section 56(3)). He is ignoring Section 56(2), which provides a 6-month statutory warranty from the date of delivery (31 Jan 2026). As an engineer, l deal in data. Three failures prove the remedy is ineffective. I have formally rejected another M4 and demand a model transition (M5) or an upliftment authority for a refund. I am escalating this to the CGSO. IStore is choosing internal "service strategies" over SA Law.

I ordered stuff on 01-Jan-2017 and to date (26-Jan-2017) it has not yet arrived. I called the Helpdesk last week and they said to just wait a few days -- and if it were not delivered by the middle of this week to call them again.

I called in again today, and they said to wait a few more days. I expressed by frustration and this long waiting period, and was told that they would give me back my money.

What's worse is that I applied a promo code that is obviously no longer available to me. So I don't think I'll be purchasing from Biovea again.

Biovea is very unreliable with delivering products in South Africa. This is not the first time this has happened. I thought to give the company one more chance in hope that they would've improved their service delivery, but they have not.

The inconvenience of not getting that for which you paid is disappointing.

I was recently going through my bank statement and noticed a fraudulent debit order from company SENUA Business Enterprise for R99. I've never heard of this company before nor have a given any small business my details for debit orders. I googled this to see what comes up for this company and then read all about the R99 scam and it being linked to a company called Xfinity. Fraudulent transactions were also picked up by many other individuals. This is one of the examples: https://hellopeter.com/senua-business-enterprise-cc/reviews/non-existent-service-58- **********

So I called the SB fraid prevention hotline hoping they would help. However, they said that they don't deal with debit transactions, even after me explaining that it is a fraudulent transaction. I was terribly disappointed to learn that SB doesn't really care about these fraudsters debiting money from my account.

The fraud line then referred me to private banking to reverse the transaction, but I was advised that there will be a R190 charge because this reversal request is for a transaction more than 40 days ago. So I decided to not reverse the transaction.

I also calling the company that debited my account (Xfinity), but unsurprisingly I could not get a hold of them. There is no physical address. I don't know who to eacalate this fraud case to. I pity the probably large number of people who does not see this transaction or sees it and does not call the bank to reverse it or calls the bank too late to reverse it.

I also pity the banking client who has to put up with a sloppy fraud division like Standard Bank Fraud Line who will not offer any support in terms of preventing the fraud or reporting fradusters.

It must be a good time in South Africa for these type of fradusters. I also wonder how they got my details In the first place! Not safe with Standard Bank :-(

I got the Telkom LTE Uncapped Deal earlier this year. We started relying heavily on this for lots of online services including purchasing and streaming of videos and games. In the Ts & Cs Telkom said that for this type of data usage they would never throttle and it is completely uncapped.

Now, they have started throttling speed when the total data usage for the month is around 200GB. This is in complete violation of their original terms. I HATE TELKOM. I WISH WE HAD A REAL COMMS COMPANY TAKING SA A STEP CLOSER TO FIRST WORLD EXPERIENCE. SERIOUSLY, I FEEL LIKE OTHER COUNTRIES IN AFRICA WILL PROSPER MORE THAN US IN THE DECADES TO COME BECAUSE OF DECEITFUL CORPORATE TRASH LIKE TELKOM.
